There's the 'loser's bracket' joke I was waiting for with Gundyr. I do wish you didn't have to go through 2 bosses before you can get the caestus. I hate having to wait so long to really get my punchy runs started. Also, how long did it actually take for you to beat gundyr?

Perseverance is a poise buff and damage reduction. I use it all the time to tank hits on big slow enemies and just keep wailing. My favorite use is to tank the twin prince's revive explosion and just keep going. Really cuts down on the length of that fight.

I will never forget the storm of complaints on twitter about the Evo finals on ESPN  re: caestus perseverance: I did a lot of co-oping with the twin princes and my favorite thing is still just tanking the explosion in the second phase to continue wailing on Lothric's face.
