I was gonna buy the gold founder's pack but I'm in the same boat of "Will my ancient pc run this". It's got the horsepower but there are certain instruction sets it just can't parse. AMD Phenom II X6 4lyfe. This fucker is ~12 years old...

Yeah, I'll hop on at the F2P tier, I'm a little iffy about korean MMOs, my anime tolerance is pretty much early 2000s Toonami levels so hopefully I can focus on pretty and oomphy combat effects and varied loot.

But the combat is flashy and sorta fun if a little anemic given how the environment doesn't seem to get affected by anything at all and corpses disappear in 2 seconds. Game is firmly ok but it's not even a traditional ARPG like MH was.

There's a guild window that you can search in. Then you can request an invite. Other games I've seen with a similar system let you put a note but this doesn't. It's crazy to see an mmo with a guild limit of 30 today.

Turns out my PC actually can run Los Tark. Takes five minutes to launch the game, the enemy animation is robotic and I had to modify my computer registry to allow it to connect, but it can run.

I tried Lost Ark too. An hour long queue to log in, laggy controls even on the solo instance opening area. Then I got into the game and my Gunslinger's modest and practical outfit had been replaced with a low cut blouse and leather micro-shorts, and every cut scene directly focused on her rear end. Logged out and uninstalled. TL;DR - don't like costume, logine too long.

Yeah game alternated between somewhat laggy and very laggy and I wasn't sure if that was my pc or just the game.

I gave Lo Stark a try a few days ago. Right away I was disappointed I could only be a pointy-eared waifu if I wanted to play a mage (my Lozareth characters are always magic-users). Stuck with it, played for a bit. Didn't like the perspective, seemed too high and a bad angle. I didn't look for options to tweak it. Hated the female character's run animation. Didn't like having no spammable skills and everything being on a long cooldown while also costing mana. Does mana even matter in the game? I haven't given it another try since and wonder if I should. I think I'm really just too into VR games now, especially since Redheaded just got a Quest 2 for herself. Does this mean I lied to ikker about playing the game?

I gave it a go, and I can see the Marvel Heroes connection. Getting 8 skills at level one, trying to spam them all on cooldown and losing track of where my mouse was on the screen gave me that MH feel, along with everyone speedrunning the plot and having tons of currencies to collect. I could see myself wasting way too much time on this with a half-decent guild.
