While Kengan and Danberu definitely take place in the same universe, apparently Mangadex lists a third series that's suppose to be connected too called Fist of the Seeker. I checked it out, and all I can say is it gives me One Punch Man by ONE flashbacks.

I don't think that's how this tournament is going to work. It's one side vs another meaning that it goes on until one side has no more fighters. For example, if in the first round Kengan wins 5 matches and Purgatory 8, that means Purgatory only needs to have 5 fighters fight in the second round and 3 can relax.
