Milwaukee is also where Scott "Koch Whore" Walker got started. So the voters there are clearly idiots and it's mestacized to the rest of the state. The bright spot is Clark is really unpopular and could go down easily.

Milwaukee is super Democratic, it was the last (only?) large American city to be run by actual socialists up until 1960 or so. The Milwaukee suburbs on the other hand are like 75% hardcore Republican, they're who vote for Scott Walker and David Clarke; it's the posterchild for inner city segregation and white flight. AFAIK no other US city has as stark political differences as does Milwaukee between the city and suburbs.

My first job when I was 15 was a UFCW grocery job with similar pay. Although the union rep got my job back promptly when I got fired for not working in lieu of going to school.

P. sure that violates the Posse Comitatus Act unless he gets Congress to sign off on it, and don't state governors have to sign off on letting the feds use the various state National Guard units?

Title 32 (where the Guard could be used for something like this) is under the command of the state governor with federal funding. The President could mobilize the National Guard under Title 10 without the state being able to do poo poo about it (think of when Kennedy did it during the Civil Rights era), but then AFAIK you start running up against Posse Comitatus like the Regular Army.

Unilever is a huge deal. The CEO is deeply committed to all sorts of goody two shoes type concepts too. For instance they take into account the carbon footprint not just of manufacture, but of customer use. The push for concentrated detergents came out of that - the company saying "let's figure out a way to have our customers use less of our product." I wonder if desire to maintain that sort of corporate culture factored into the rejection.

Really? I always look at Unilever stuff as being run of the mill mega multi-national corporation garbage, but them having some sort of commitment (beyond just marketing garbage) to being socially and environmentally responsible is pretty nice if true.

Hey where's Skyshark to try to claim how the NRA is totally nonpartisan and supports everyone who wants to own guns.

The NRA is wholeheartedly supporting Trump because Trump was unequivocal about supporting the 2nd Amendment. After Obama & Clinton & the Democratic leadership coming out full force for gun control with positions so lovely that even the ACLU agreed with the NRA about how stupid that poo poo is, what do you expect?

Perhaps if the Democrats pulled their heads out of their asses and stopped supporting such a loser of an issue, this would change. LMAO who am I kidding, this is the same party that says that countries Obama listed as security threats don't deserve extra vetting, but US citizens who haven't been convicted (or even arrested) should lose their constitutional rights because of secret government lists.

Sorry dude, you picked the wrong side to back on this issue.
