Oh, in the other thread I've been gushing periodically about the yt channel Cinema Nippon, it mostly focuses on live action cinema and television. A good channel to check out if your curious about Japan's dramas and exploitation flicks from the 70's-80's. Look at that amazing hat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFt39WJCJjM They've also done vids on some very strange bits of media like the Silent Hill.. concept music videos (best I can do to describe it) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-p8o3tfbY0 There are no skits and the hosts seem fairly mellow but show off their homework. Every episode has a lot of background details on the period of release, film trends, inspirations etc. as well as bios on the cast and crew. Baka-nin has a new favorite as of 13:26 on Feb 6, 2018 |
