ifranview has been on my install-on-first-boot list for 15 years at this point. the last time windows had a remotely usable built in image viewer was windows xp. i don't understand how that poo poo keeps moving backward.

on my mac book pro - i have none of this poo poo because I only do poo poo of economic value (invoicing, making money) on that machine, but nothing of computing value (makling a sweet meme, checking my overclock settings on my video card etc)
