we should probably get some mavricks too. Mission coming up is gonna be close air support and having a "gently caress this guy" option that's more agile than a paveway would be handy for not much extra cost

Do we know if the squareheads' mavericks are compatible with the phantoms? And how many each f4 can carry? since if they at comparable I'll have to say we get some phantoms since they'll have relevant weapons from the get go

Quinntan posted:They ought to be, the Rb 75 is an AGM-65B and the Greeks have those. They're also compatible with our Paveways and our Mjolnirs. In-game, the F-4 can carry a pair of Mavericks, I would guess on the inner wing pylons. oh poo poo only 2 each? That might be workable though since we're fighting in Tibet so it's not like we'll see a full tank push. Still though, I'm starting to lean towards the frogfoots, since while the different missile types will be annoying it's not like we're a huge company that has a lot to keep track off. Plus dat can opener. brrrrrrt

Triple A posted:We probably should in that case put SK-60s to CAS duty while we'll send a flight of Gripens to see what's going down in the sea. We probably can spare 2 Gripens for SEAD. correct me if I'm wrong, but arnt we operating at sea? why do we need sead? it might be helpful if a warship shows up, but let's be honest if a warship that can pose a large threat shows up our first action should be to freeze operations and call up our employer for a large pay increase because doing fleet engagements on our budget is bad business

Up until you realise that we are solely dependent on the Chinese for the more advanced munitions for them, and I do not see them selling weapons to the company that 1) sank one of their frigates 2) bombed their airbase and 3) helped free Tibet. except they're back in the warlords era. Theres probably some dude willing to sell some stockpile he isnt going to use, and failing that china is probably triple corrupt by this point so finding some missiles that fall off the back of a truck should be doable for our good friend abramof. therefore Entebble

i think we should stick with euro gear. The frogfoots did good, but i think their best left as opportunity buys rather than something to eat that 20% tax when we could get more gripens and tornadoes. also go sk60s. those guys have sealed themselves a role as being helpful AND expendable!

Angola-Hoff Bering seas look boring aside from ecoterrorism. The dictator would try to kill us after his paranoia makes him think were plotting to overthrow him and some fucktarded dweeb in the free state would stiff our payment in some attempt to pretend he's a game of thrones character.

It'll have to be the coast. It'll be bloody, but we're at a point where the longer this goes on the worse it is so attempting caution gets us nothing. Is there a way to get von Hoff some artillery? some old rear end SMERCHes would probably do a lot to make thier assault a lot smoother.
