Awww, servers are busy so my capped resources can't be used. Maintenance always starting when I get to work should ve a good thing but it's really inconvenient to do everything right after waking up.

I... think I finally caught up on all the content. I have all the lapis quests, including the vortex bosses, all story quests, all espers, all story missions, all vault keys, and sitting comfortably under the 30,000 mark for the King Mog raid. Now I have no excuse not to TM farm, except the next event is another grindfest.

I only just got my first Wakka from the free daily today so now I can believe it is on banner (also updated the dodge post, Zargaablaag and 6* Vaan both get dodge traits, 20% p&m for Big Z, just 15% p for Vaan. Zwill Crossblade might give evade but until it's confirmed I won't add it to the dodge post)

^^ Seriously, have some of my Wakkas I just started about a week ago. Can anyone give advice on team building for getting through the storyline and beyond? What's the best team I can make out of this? I've been using Rain/Laswell/Olive/Dark Cecil/Refia

Olive Refia Zyrus Cloud of Darkness Mercedes are your most consistent. You have done decent future TMs. Ludmille should be first for Refia. Locke is OK and Kefka has uses.

DKC, Olive, Refia, Zyrus, Mercedes, Garland, CoD, and Cerius are your best characters (Cerius only for elemental resistance fights). Unfortunately you have basically all finishers, and no chainers.. Olive, Mercedes, and Garland are currently very good chain cappers, and DKC when he gets his enhancements will also be top of the heap, but you can't cap a chain that doesnt exist... For now I'd say your team could be Olive, DKC, Mercedes, Zyrus, and Refia? That should be more than enough to get you through the story. Endgame content I would sub out DKC and Zyrus for CoD and Garland, until DKC gets his enhancements. You really do need a reliable chainer. Chizuru and Setzer are probably the first you'll come across so be on the lookout for them. Also TM that Ludmille ASAP so Refia can have Dualcast

Don't forget Rain! His 6* has a full break (Undermine) which is -30% to all enemy stats and great to have until you can get better breakers like Warrior of Light. Plus he levels up super fast and he also has a party all stat buff in Leadership but it chews through his MP. I'd suggest Olive -> Refia -> Rain as a place to start leveling / awakening. Olive can wreck poo poo fast, Refia can ATK&DEF buff and curaja and full raise, Rain can break. After those three focus on others like Dark Knight Cecil, Cloud of Darkness, Zyrus, or Mercedes. She can give a buff that reduces damage received by 20% and give +40% to all elemental resistance, inflict AoE status effects (good for arena), or fixed 19998 damage which is great early on. Only 2% until my 2nd dual wield finishes.
