That's how long we have until football. Preseason, but hey, a thirsty man in a desert doesn't turn down a Fresca.

It'd be cool if there was any actual news

This. Right now I think Nola.com is just doing a countdown of the 20 best Saints on the team now. No real NFL news for a couple of weeks until training camp.

I take that back: actual news: Saints players are really impressed by Adrian Peterson. Think he's still got it.

Also: Ted Ginn is still fast. No word on his hands status.

I think the Pats/Jets Thanksgiving GDT was the absolute best though. The 21 points in like 70 seconds broke peoples minds.

The Patriots have been involved in so much hilarity on this forum it's remarkable.

It's important to remember on this day of days that the continued dominance of the New England Patriots in the NFL is a) recompense for the brave citizens of Boston who died at the hand of soldiers of the British Empire and b) a just reward for setting the chain of events in motion that lead to the creation of the most free nation on Earth, the leader, sword, and shield of the Free World, the United States of America. The team appropriately features representatives of our most important allies: a wide receiver who is Jewish, representing the beacon of light in the benighted Middle East that is the state of Israel and a tackle from Germany, our former bitter enemy and now staunch supporter in the often confusing realms of the decadent Old World. It's impossible for any red blooded American to support any other team.

Gronk is the Boston Tea Party, just throwing crap off of boats and having a hell of a time.

If you were thinking about cutting the chord you could get sling blue/orange for $40 then the sports extra for another $10.

Technically all you need is Sling Orange for $25 and the Sports Extra for $10 but then you don't get the ESPN channels. But that's the cheapest way to get RedZone that I've found.

So the Panthers twitter guy was like someone's nephew that came in to run the new fangled twitter and when he showed up fresh out of unc his uncle was like "how many people do you need to do this?"

And like a boss he said he needed at least 8 people to run it effectively. Money wasn't an issue and no one knew any better so he got it approved.

So basically he got his entire frat a job and they've spent the last three years just making GBS threads all over everyone and getting 50 gs to do it.

I applaud that guy.
