I like this game a lot and it's gotten like no press. Thanks for the LP!

It's cool to see which things you blow through that I spent forever on, and vice versa. That mega tumor where you had to climb up a tower of clouds through poison gas took me a million tries.

Carbon dioxide posted:Cool, thanks for trying. This game looks IWBTG-hard which means impossible for me so I'm glad you're showing it off. It's pretty different from iwbtg - it gives you a handful of tools and gradually forces you to master them with various obstacles. Usually the path you need to take becomes clear enough. Whereas IWBTG is has a lot of, like, playing through each level enough times to learn where it will randomly kill you in addition to the jumping puzzles. Super meat boy, which this is a successor of sorts to, was especially good at teaching you how the play by having you play slowly escalating levels until, by playing through the game, you had mastered it. I think that philosophy of level design makes things a lot more fun, personally. Most of the difficulty is execution, with enough "routing" that you don't get bored.

cant cook creole bream posted:Nah. There is an unbreakable achievement for every one of these cartridges. They were linked a few posts up. Weirdly enough it's actually possible (not feasible) to clear every cartridge without dying. You don't need to get all the rings for that though - has someone done all rings unbreakable?

I wonder what the *minimum* amount of rings you can collect in these carts is.

He's on the balls-hard part of the game now lol so I expect the updates will slow somewhat.
