So what about that room that had all the floating cards and the whirlpool in it? Or is that something you're leaving for us to discover ourselves?

There's a room entry for that you can get from Thanos' mask power(I think?), but it doesn't illuminate too much. You need to pick up certain cards to make a bridge to the other side, which has a card. The room entry might be unlocked by grabbing that card, now that I think about it.

It has the ace of hearts, if you collect the 10, jack, queen, and king they make a road to pick it up.

It fades back to credits but we've seen that. So why not just fade out for reals?

Glad to hear people enjoyed the art posts, I've certainly enjoyed the thread and reading everyone's speculation and analysis. Anyway, here's the last bonus; the origin comic that shows how Lucas and Lafcadio first met.

Question on the lynch pin on the story, is there any reason given for the wrongly set timers other than a simple mistake? I thought for a moment that we might see the Marquis' redemption with a third party being responsible for error, someone intentionally adjusting the timer to frame Lucas.

Then again, addiction isn't nearly as subtle as people think it is.

Now that we've seen everything I wanted to ask: How do you unlock entries in the Secrets part of the journal? I got pretty much 100% of everything, all the room descriptions all the cards, the addiction ending, etc... But nothing unlocked there. Did I miss something?

Really? I'm not sure how they're unlocked. I'd guess by finishing the story but if not that, then finding cards and Thanos' mask usage. If those don't unlock it then I'm not really sure what does.

Speaking of those secret entries, those and all the other entries are in the second post now.

That's not really what I expected but doesn't have as many spoilers as I would have expected either. You could guess at Lafcadio still being a guest even if he lost the casino on a bet. Either way, thanks for all the art and comic posts! I'm gonna toss them in the second post as well.

Found out what it is: I had done everything but the very last step that actually ends the game. However, unlocking everything else but the Secrets page ALREADY counts as 100%, and finishing the game actually doesn't count at all. I must have gotten to that point ages ago, tried to do the whole "save everyone in one day" thing and found it impossible (given the second save resets) and then watched another LP/streamer actually end the game.

It's weird because as some people in the thread guessed early on, the game is REALLY well set up for allowing the players themselves to do the one-day save once they've gotten the mask that lets them walk through mirrors. I have to believe that it was intended, at some point in the development of the game, that this would happen- but then it got changed because scripting it into a cinematic allows for a more story-driven ending. A bit like how Amnesia 2 had multiple endings that got cut when the devs realized the game only really needed one and that giving the players a choice (in that case) made no sense from a narrative perspective.

Never too lazy to dance with the angels
From Lafcadio's point of view, that bet was a win-win. If he won, the money he won would keep the casino afloat a little longer. Long enough to sell it legitimately, perhaps. And losing, well, one less thing to worry about and become a priest. Plus, the casino was going to a dear friend.

Which means that, as a freshly minted priest, he was throwing his friend into a lose-lose situation without their knowledge.

I don't know if they were friends then, it seemed more like this was how they met to me, but we don't get a lot of details, so interpretations can vary.
