Just give me single episodes like we had for the first ten seasons or so and don't be too preachy or try too hard to use the show as a vessel to express political or cultural beliefs. "Cartman tries to create a racket to make $10M by stealing tooth fairy money" is much more fun than "Cartman reminds us he hates the Jews Part 50".

The rap was great (and even better in context having seen the Logic song) but would've been funnier if Cartman weren't pinning his intended suicide on the girlfriend he's convinced is abusing him when it's the other way around, if anything. It's Cartman's excessive shittiness showing up again which you're hoping gets paid off in it coming back to bite him.

Randy Marsh Adventures have always been hit or miss for me because it comes down to whether or not his indulgence is entertaining (Medicinal Fried Chicken) or grating (More Crap). Randy's making out with the Native American to try and get his DNA in his mouth so he could be part Native was good, but the rest of it was kind of a miss. It probably shouldn't be weird, but I guess they haven't done it in a while. It was as bad, if not worse, than PewDiePie showing up and breaking the fourth wall in the last episode of whatever season that was, but at least that was related to the content of the previous episodes. Waltzing Along posted:Avoid everything from this season and last season. That's 20/21. Everything before it is pretty high quality with hits and misses. Except season 16. That's a bad season, too with only a couple worthwhile episodes. The first half of that season (the spring run) is total trash. The second part is back to normal, but that's only 7 episodes of which a couple are good. I generally agree with this list with the inclusion of A Nightmare on Facetime and Poor and Stupid (because I'd always wanted to see SP do a NASCAR episode and was surprised with how well they did with it). Butterballs is worth it for the payoff at the end alone Butters ing his Grandma by telling her she's going to die fairly soon and he'll carry on as a happy-go-lucky kid.

"We have to get to them before something stupider happens." is a great line for many things in the run of this show, both the enjoyable stuff and the lame stuff the last couple years. Mr. Garrison magically growing a lush head of blonde hair after 20 years as a bald man/woman is kinda weak, too, but I liked Butters taking a swipe at his lack of accomplishments. sticklefifer posted:This was a fun episode that kind of felt like the old days, but honestly the running gag of "girls take a long time to get ready am I rite guys" is such a lazy joke, and would be comedy poison if not for seeing how much it makes Cartman miserable. Cartman and Heidi at this point is just downright not fun. Him being pissed about missing the festival could've been fun but, instead of finding another way to pay that off, he goes "I should just kill her". It's becoming a constant theme that we're having fun episodes but then (rolls eyes) The Adventures of Cartman and Heidi happens. It's almost like there's a writer who's miserable in a relationship right now and is using Cartman as a vessel to deal with it and they're just running it into the ground because they're figuring people are watching and going "Yep, I feel your pain.". JazzFlight posted:I just want episodes to be centered on Kyle, Stan, Cartman, and Kenny/Butters again. That episode was alright except for yet another misfire in the Cartman/Heidi plot (and, subsequently, Kyle's campaign). Cartman having to deal with the monster he created (and struggling to find ways to do so) was fun last week and it looked like an escalation of that might continue this week until they pulled the old "Let's pile on the Jew!" card again and you knew it was an opportunity wasted.
