True story: back on May 25th, the Yankees got rained out at home for a scheduled game against the Royals. The game was rescheduled for September 25th, this coming Monday. One problem, though, is Yankee Stadium's other tenant, New York City FC of Major League Soccer, had a game scheduled for September 23rd, and the time it takes to convert Yankee Stadium from a soccer stadium to a baseball stadium takes three full days. Now, I'm not going to bore you with the sordid tales of NYCFC finding a place to play (which has been an issue since day 1 of the club in MLS), but the end result was that they ended up moving the soccer match on Saturday to East Hartford, Connecticut and moving the East Carolina-Connecticut game to Sunday.
