After a number of failed starts, I'm finally digging into WH2 with a vortex campaign as Alarielle. Early campaign's been going great - took my province, took the Phoenix Gate, took the Shrine of Khaine. Fantastic. My question is - should I be planning on backstabbing or taking over my Elf Buddies' provinces? I'm used to playing CK2/3 where you win by backstabbing everybody. Or should I focus on allying everybody and defeating the baddies?

Have the developers said anything about updating the engine for the next game?
Right now the game is so loving ugly it makes me want to barf, especially whenever any kind of foliage is present, which is almost always. It's probably the ugliest strategy game I've ever played.

Have you... seen any of the trailers or in game footage? You can literally see what the game looks like right now if you wish

I just won a campaign for the first time ever so I feel like this is all my fault somehow

(It was Taurox and it was piss-easy by the end, just running around Ulthuan auto-resolving every settlement)
