what kind of autistic screeching is that? when will you not have your phone on you near the homepod? it’s not portable and it stays in one spot in your house and it’s airplay so if your phone is anywhere in wifi range it works fine. i use a bluetooth speaker every day while riding bikes and there’s no point in my day where my phone isn’t less than 50 feet from my speaker. i used to be excited about new ios releases but there’s really nothing exciting or special that gets added anymore. i mean bug fixes sure but i just don’t see there being a lot of dramatic upgrades like notification center or apple music integration

if you carry more than 6 cards, you're blowing it. I have two id's, my debit card and my library card. there's no reason for you to carry your best buy rewards card wherever you go. also I have a hip pouch and messenger bag because I live on my bike and especially in the summer I wear women's shorts which have negative pocket space but my storage capacity is ++. my phone is in a case because i found a cute case but it's ok if your phone is or is not in a case because its a personal choice. i'm trying to get the faces feature in photos to work on OSX, since it never really worked on my phone. I pulled down all the originals in my library to this new mbp and it happily scanned 700 photos a month ago and then stopped ever since. I don't really want to manually tag 40k photos so how do I kickstart it?

somebody gifted me a mid 2011 iMac 21" and its extremely needs suiting for my nontechnical lifestyle but two questions: 1) is there any useful kind of twitter client that I can dock on one of my desktops? I use tweetbot for iOS but lol if i'm going to pay 10 bucks for it again 2) is there a remote control app that lets me adjust volume? aka I watch hulu on this when im in bed and it would be great to be able to control the volume without getting up

i went from a 7 to an XS last week because upgrading was the same cost as a battery swap and while this phone is nice i feel like phones in general aren’t exciting anymore. it was cool as hell 10 years ago to be like “this one has a front camera!” “this one has a gps!” but there’s no mind blowing features anymore. work had a bunch of wireless charging pads so i’m trying it out and that’s cool but it’s not like that’s some crazy feature. i do want to get a so stand for my nightstand tho.

are there any qi charging pads that look like a grown up would use them? i’ve been looking at stands because that seems waaaay more useful than a pad on my nightstand but everything is ugly and/or doesn’t list the actual charging power. also in general i am just super unimpressed by the general accessory industrial design. everything looks waaaaaaaay too techlord and i dont need my electronics to be liquid metal extensions of my arms. also also i’m assuming the qi chargers are cross compatible with MY PARTNER the android haver yeah?

Sniep posted:my bose QC35s own pretty hard, they dont break up much so the other thing here is if you want perfect audio fidelity you should not use a wireless standard. bt audio is “pretty good” but you’ll never get the best sound. what speakers are you buying? almost all of us use ueboom, jambox, boombotix, and jbl flips and the only distortion any of us get is by a construction site where they’re definitely using that frequency for something.

like the auto generated people videos are hilarious as gently caress every time and i love sending them to the people. one of them is just this photo of my friend and i in a cat bulldozer over and over again because i guess i’ve saved it on my phone over a dozen times set to a imagine dragons soundalike and i didn’t do anything to create this work of art

pretty much every expensive thing i own has to pass the “ride through an explosive downpour on my bicycle” test and i have a great set of gear that is very all weather. i’m very careful with my items but everything i own takes a beating from my lifestyle i can’t recommend ueboom speakers enough between being waterproof and shockproof they own bones
