mugabe was a result of poorly executed decolonization and political circumstance because he was one of the loudest rebels instead of any of the better rebels/resistance leaders who he hosed over in the 80s or afterward. he has took a metaphorical nuke to zimbabwes economy that will take generations to heal, and has created a state of severe suffering for his populace that he doesn't really care about. If he meets a violent end it will be an unexpected justice. And I was so sure he's gonna die peacefully.

My gut leans yes, because this was a military that was once loyal to economic mega genius Robert Mugabe. So you either get a civil war or military junta in a country with trillion dollar bills in circulation. I'm sure the IMF will give them a loan once they offer to sell all the blood of their first born children.
