"Hoo boy this plum wine really goes to your head. I do apologise and--" Gee attempted to find his footing after accidentally faceplanting into the ample decolletage of one Lady Meliora Efigenia Tunt of Integrated Macrodynamics and was firmly seized by both of the Pertinax Encouragement Operatives assigned to watch him per Aethelred's orders.

"OW.. alright alright I'll stop drinking, let go of my eaOW.. ok I'm going to the sponsor console now! Christ with a coilgun you girls have a strong grip."

Releasing his ears, the two performed a quick high five into low five and promptly planted a foot each upside his posterior ensuring he made it in the proper direction. Lady Tunt at least seemed partially mollified by the scene.

Authorising the dispatch of one Supply Drop (25L) for Hievel, (5 Pertinax, 20 Hievel)

Facepalming at the incident as it appeared on the sponsor lounge cams, Aethelred bade Misty and Stormy work a little of their Pertinax brand charm on Lady Tunt. Even though her company wasn't actively sponsoring, it just wasn't cricket to leave a faux pas such as that unresolved. As for Gee, his score on the Swab Usefulness Index dropped several digits.

Skipp Wiley Jr. was visibly crestfallen when he and Apiary Anne arrived on the outskirts of the recent battle site only to find the place swarming with Myrmecoid Rovers. The giant ants were busy scrambling about the four ruined Gamma-class rigs, mindlessly invested in their scrap collection duties. Those wriggling, chitinous fiends! It would take far too much time and energy to exterminate these pests right now, even if it meant Skipp and Anne could claim the valuable rigs' remains as their own. Mercury's fabled terminator line was quickly approaching. Night was going to rapidly turn to day, and everything would become very hot very soon after that. There was simply no time to be fighting Mercurial mega-insects over rig salvaging rights!

"Anne," Skipp said, turning to the giant bee-woman Wrecker, and sizing her up with his medi-class scanalyzers. "Forget the Rigs - no time for bug business. I think it's best we rest up and purge ourselves of toxins. Those Spores we picked up will make us even sicker otherwise."

Skipp noticed Apiary Anne marveling at the Blastmantle's recent bloom a little bit. It had been growing at an alarming rate ever since Skipp started wearing it. There would be more Spores to come from it, very soon...

Apiary Anne started fluttering and fanning herself with her wings. She was overheating acutely from being in the thermally-active areas earlier and she was trying to cool herself off and shake off some of the Spores at the same time.

"In fact," Skipp hesitated, "let me get at some things from your pack while you do that..."

With Apiary Anne's permission, Skipp rummaged around through Apiary Anne's survival kit until he found her uncharged Fabrikit, the Dr. One, and the ten luxe that Katydid had just given her.

"Alright, got 'em!" He exclaimed, promptly feeding the luxe into the recharger hopper for the Fabrikit. "Just gimme a sec and I'll have the Dr. One up and running on a Poison purge protocol for two!"

Skipp cranked up the Fabrikit to full power before he hooked it up to the Dr. One's recharger port.

In short order, the Dr. One came to life and started floating over Apiary Anne. A glowing green light emanated from the Dr. One's medi-scanalyzer that suffused the Hiver Wrecker with restorative pulses of energy that readily purged her blood of toxins. The automated doctor then dutifully turned to Skipp and started performing the same ritual on him.

"You know, it's strange," Skipp admitted, as the Dr. One's medical process was underway. "I was expecting a killing shot from that Hyperchurch sniper to come from somewhere further afield, but that bullet never came. I wonder..."

The hovering Dr. One bleeped and binged cheerfully to signify a job well done and to report a low battery, and then sunk itself for a rest on the ground.

"There's a chance the Manhunter is afraid, or for whatever reason they're no longer nearby. I'm going to check ahead, just to be safe."

Skipp inflated his floatsacs and started climbing up the wall to get a better vantage point.

The shot from the sniper she had been expecting was strangely absent. As Skipp busied himself with Dr One to allow the two of them to cleanse themselves of any remaining toxins, Anne let her armor run the anti-incendiary subroutines and considered why that might be. Perhaps the manhunter was booking it, now that the terminator line was approaching?

Skipp Wiley Jr. returned from his brief scouting foray, his six feet skidding down the rock wall from the cavern ceiling until he lightly pushed off and touched down neatly on the ground. He deflated his drift bladders a bit to let his Quadlegs anchor him solidly to the ground. He turned to Apiary Anne, shrugged and shook his head.

"You see the scan data I sent you, Anne? There's nothing to the northwest, that Spore Cloud's to the east, and a Mutant Roughneck with two Mutant Drudges is to the southwest. Nothing immediately suspicious about that lineup, I'm afraid, but if one of those tagged mutants starts moving somewhere in a hurry we'll know for sure that it's our Hyperchurch Manhunter using a spoofed Scan-ID!"

Skipp absentmindedly scratched at the Mercurial Spores slowly growing across his Heliopause armor, not realizing that he was only making the their spread even worse. Apiary Anne was looking similarly beleaguered by the Spores collecting in the nooks and crannies of her wings and armor. At the very least, she'd cooled off considerably. Skipp spoke as he scratched:

"Also - I took the liberty of checking the other Wreckers' feeds while I was up there. Turns out Katya and the others ran smack dab into a Wailer Probe. Cry-3's bound to show up at their location at any moment!"

Skipp checked his visual feed's overlaid map and considered his words carefully.

"Listen, Anne. If you hurry you can actually make it there in time to help the others fight Cry-3! I think you should go..."

Before she could protest, Skipp continued, "You're the only one tough enough to withstand a blow from Cry-3 on your own, much less a shot from the Hyperchurch's Manhunter too. They need you there, for their own protection. They're, well..."

Skipp stopped as he floundered, fishing for the right words. "They're only rookies, y'know?"

"Me?" Skipp offered, staring off to the east in what he hoped appeared to be a very stoic manner. "I'm going to activate the Zodiac Beacon."

He paused to let the full implication settle in with Apiary Anne. If the Hiver was at all surprised by Skipp's declaration, Skipp wouldn't have been able to tell. Skipp was already rummaging around in his pack for a few more items.

"Actually, before I go - these are for you - just in case you get hurt. I won't be needing the rest, honestly, and the Blastmantle is Hievel's. Sell the other items off for luxe when the time comes and pay me back later or something! Or, y'know, meet me at the Zodiac Beacon with the others so I can put them through a Port-A-Luxe myself - whatever works!"

Skipp passed over to Apiary Anne several valuable survival items and cinched up his pack for travel. He nodded in approval as he slung it onto his back, amazed at just how much lighter it had gotten since the very start of Dark.

"Actually," Skipp ventured, as he inflated his drift bladders, "if you and the others want to meet me at the Zodiac Beacon to potentially split the Taurus' salvage and make final trades before the Exfiltrators show up, I wouldn't be opposed. Just... don't come in close until right after the Zodiac's primary attack, okay? I've got a plan, but it's going to get messy."

Skipp explained, "I don't know how I know it, but there should be a big, bloody bang and the Zodiac Rig should be dead in the center of it all - you won't be able to miss it!"

Skipp turned and waved, leaving Apiary Anne behind. His drift bladders were full and his Macerating Biocover was in tow.

"See ya at the after party, Anne."

In synchronized motions, the Wrecker and his personal arachnoid bodyguard crouched on their manifold limbs and leapt off into the cavernous distance of Dark.

Apiary Anne can peek:
Movement: Skipp gives Apiary Anne the Blastmantle (full), a Medikit (empty), a Medikit [X] (+heal) (empty), and a Purifier Retrovirus!
Skipp (6 Jump) tows his Macerating Biocover (3 Jump), jumping four hexes southeast together (21.05 ----> 23.08)!

[Sponsor Luxe: 18+5 = 23]

Dr. Wiley was absolutely livid with the young blue Wrecker presumed to be his son. Just when Dr. Wiley was fairly confident that the boy was indeed Junior - and the real Junior, too, not some clone or a fake - the boy had gone and decided to do something uncharacteristically stupid. Dr. Wiley yelled at the holo-feed of Junior hopping through the caves with his drooling, gnashing Biocover in tow.

"No! What do you mean, you're going to activate the Zodiac Beacon? All by yourself? The Taurus rig'll stomp you flat in an instant! What kind of plan is that? C'mon!"

Grumbling all the while, Dr. Wiley quickly typed up a Challenge that should potentially give the boy some inbound Wrecker support, pronto. If Junior was going for try for the Zodiac Beacon all by himself, then another set of of eyes nearby could be immensely helpful. Dr. Wiley hit the submit button and mentally crossed his fingers.

The sniper seemed to be absent still and Skipp was itching to go for the Zodiac, so it seemed like there was nothing to be gained here. Anne took the things Skipp had handed her and made her way over to where the others had moved, they had just triggered one of Cry-3's probes after all and Aotzzuo had prepared an Ambush, so they were likely staying put.

Skipp can look:

Skipp Wiley Jr. swung from a stalactite and spun lazily in midair like a gymnast in slow-motion. He was buoyed by his drift bladders and balanced by his Quadlegs' gyrostabilizers, and he was having a fun time effortlessly twirling his way through the upper reaches of Dark's caves with graceful, almost minimal effort, all the way over to the Zodiac Beacon.

The Macerating Biocover Skipp had in tow, which Skipp had named "Champy," was busy clinging tight to his beloved master's back, dutifully watching over said back as it tried not to get sick from from all the aerial spinning.

Just earlier, Skipp and Champy had passed by Aotzzzuo, Hievel, Katydid, and Myrv waiting patiently beside a whooping Wailer Probe that was busy screaming for Cry-3 to show up. Any moment now, Skipp had assured them, the D-active Warhulk Cry-3 would appear in that location to maul somebody from a hole torn into D-space. Skipp's allies aimed to give that twisted tentacled monstrosity a harsh wake-up call, and Skipp approved. Skipp didn't have time to stop and chat with the other Wreckers, unfortunately, but he'd addressed them over the Comms anyway to let them all know the basics of his plan: he was going on ahead, he was going to activate the Zodiac Beacon, and he was going to fight the Zodiac rig Taurus all by himself. He'd let Apiary Anne fill them in on the rest of the details if and when she caught up, but as far as Skipp was concerned, the rest of what happened out in Dark was in the hands of fate.

Skipp's train of thought was suddenly interrupted when Champy the Macerating Biocover gripped even tighter onto his back and threw up.

For Champy's sake and his own, Skipp quickly righted himself and stabilized his descent in the vast cavern space, seeking out a safe and secluded spot where he could wipe himself and his Biocover down. It wouldn't do to flip the big switch on the Zodiac Beacon platform covered in Macerating Biocover puke after all, not at all!

With his feet firmly planted on the ground, Skipp rummaged around for something he could use to clean with. Just as Skipp was about to tap a pressurized air canister to hose himself and Champy off, a Gamma Bounder's heavy feet pounded into the ground nearby. The Gamma rig's guns were leveled right in their direction. They'd been spotted!

"Wow, we really don't have time for this," Skipp said, his empty hands were raised toward's the rig's bright headlights in a gesture of surrender.

"Ready to run, Champy? " Skipp murmured out of the corner of his mouth. The Macerating Biocover was alert, but frozen stock still in place, listening. "Block that one for me, will ya? Wait for the signal."

From behind them came a rumbling, and a crumbling of rock as a fiendish snarl erupted from the shadows. The massive bulk of a Troglodytic Horror leapt out from a nearby hole in the ground and charged directly at Skipp, Champy, and the Gamma Bounder.

"Okay, that's our signal! Go, go, go!"

Skipp and his Macerating Biocover zipped away as fast as their legs could carry them. Skipp didn't have time to waste, after all, he had a Zodiac Beacon to make it to!

Encounter: Skipp orders his Macerating Biocover to block attacks from the Gamma Bounder only this phase!
Skipp and his Macerating Biocover retreat south! 23.08 -> 23.09

eStelle shook instinctively, the dust of her new skin loosening from her body like pollen from a tree, mixing with the rock, metal and frost of DARK. She pulled our the Luminescent Biomass from her pack and bathed it in the dust, hoping that the skates she would feed it to would come to associate her smell with only good and pleasant things, and thus let her go unmolested or even join her in her conquest of these cold environs.

Just as Anne touched down, the shambling mass of Cry-3 appeared among the group of wreckers. It was aiming for Aotzzzuo, but his (their? its? who the hell knew anymore with this guy) Biocover threw itself in harm's way to block the hit. "She'll likely retreat, but send some fire downrange at her, just in case she doesn't, I'll take care of her probe" Anne shouted to the others, exchanging her pistol for Hievel's drill. Revving up the drill, she quickly ran up to and eviscerated the probe, leaving it in so many tiny pieces. In the probe's death throes, her Wreckterminal registered a new tag on her, marking her as a likely target for Cry-3's next charge.

Skipp Wiley Jr. and his Macerating Biocover "Champy" had leapt out of the way of the charging, snapping, Troglodytic Horror just in time. The gigantic, voracious omnivore had just barely missed them both with it's rending claws. The Horror had skidded along the ground on its powerful limbs as it scrambled for purchase on the loose, rocky turf, sliding with such force that it bodily slammed right into the pursuing Gamma Bounder's legs and gotten them both tangled up. The Gamma Bounder had fired a couple desperate parting shots in Skipp and Champy's direction as they ran, but they all went wide. They had gotten off scot-free!

Skipp practically jumped with joy as both he and his Macerating Biocover ran fleet-footed through the caves, headed straight for the Zodiac Beacon platform. He was going to make Wrecking Crew history by taking on the Taurus rig as a solo Wrecker!

Skipp and his guardian companion Champy dove right into the noxious clouds of Volatile Gas without a second thought, prepared to outrun anything that lay ahead. What they hadn't expected was to find the Zodiac Beacon's activator switch to be completely undefended, unattended in the middle of a barren, Zodiac-scale arena swamped with flammable gas. The arena was fringed with the usual Wrecking Crew assortment of industrial equipment and chemical containers, but there were absolutely no enemies nearby to speak of - ominous indeed. The Volatile Gas hanging in the air like a dense fog made visibility difficult and would furthermore make things very hot very fast in the fight to come, and both the Gamma Bounder and the Troglodytic Horror he'd run into would likely show up sometime soon looking for food or a fight. Skipp knew that he couldn't do anything about those factors at this point: he had to focus on his upcoming battle with the Taurus rig!

Skipp spoke a warning to his Macerating Biocover that the creature seemed to understand.

"If there's an explosion, Champy, get behind me and watch out for yourself only, okay? Heliopause can take a hit from a fireball just fine." Skipp knocked on his armor with a fist for emphasis. "I don't need you getting yourself blasted to pieces leaping to my defense just yet!" He reached out and patted the Macerating Biocover on the head as it ground its teeth in consternation.

"Actually, hold on," Skipp said, and he popped the facial visor off his helmet so he could forcefully pitch a gout of acidic blood and bile from his guts safely into a nearby empty barrel.

Skipp wiped his mouth clean on his armor's wrist before he resealed his visor and reengaged his air supply. "Ah, much better!" He declared.

Skipp invited Champy onto his shoulder and inflated his floatsacs until the two of them were steadily climbing slowly up high in the air. With Champy safely perched on his back, the two of them could see the whole central cavern arena of Dark's Zodiac Beacon. With this scan data shared between the two of them, nothing could possibly surprise them!

Furthermore, while they were up there, Skipp made sure to stay on the lookout for an appropriate location to stage an ambush for any incoming enemies, big or small. The Gamma Bounder, for one, would be coming from the north, the Troglodytic Horror, for two, would be emerging from somewhere unknown underground, and the Zodiac rig's emergence sites could be deduced and planned around, just from looking at the arena's entrances. There were only so many places that an Alpha-class rig could be effectively deployed from, even in a cave system of this size. Even so, there were plenty of hiding spots scattered among the industrial equipment below that could offer Skipp the proper positioning and cover he needed to get the jump on anyone or anything coming close.

Once he found his ideal spot and made sure that it was safe, Skipp rubbed his armored hands together and grinned. It was time. He approached the pedestal at the central dais of the arena, where the Zodiac Beacon awaited activation.

"Olly olly oxen free!" Skipp cried, as he grasped both ends of the lever's plunger and pumped the activator switch down with all his might.

Action: Skipp orders his Macerating Biocover not to guard him against any potential Volatile Gas explosions in this upcoming Hazard phase!
Skipp activates his Newtype ability to mimic the Junker talent set for this round (-1 HP)!
Skipp takes damage! Caustic Haemorrhexis versus Macerating Biocover "Champy": 1d4 3 - Miss!
As a free action, Skipp wide-scans the area around 23.08!
As a free action, Skipp sets up an Ambush!

As she finished taking the probe apart, Anne heard a sharp whistling sound, which turned out to be a shot from the sniper's rifle that hit her shoulder, taking her left arm clean off. Underneath a writhing mass of symbiotes was revealed, which was already beginning to seal the wound. After she picked up her still writhing arm and reattached it to the injury, they began to knit her severed flesh back together, until only the tear in the fabric of her armor was visible. All the while Anne loudly cursed out the manhunter, complaining about the hit to the Hive's PR efforts this would cause.
After she had calmed down a little, she pulled the armor pack she had been lugging around a while out of her backpack and made to finally open it.

As soon as Skipp Wiley Jr. slammed the switch's plunger down on the central dais of the Zodiac Beacon, a spark was generated by the booby-trapped device that set the entire area aflame in an explosive conflagration of burning gas and flaming chaos. Skipp's Macerating Biocover "Champy" was immediately caught up in the blazing inferno, perishing almost instantly as the air around it lit on fire and suffocated it outright. Skipp, caught midway though lunging to protect Champy, was flung forcefully into the air by the fiery blast and sent careening into the far wall, where he rebounded from the shockwave and landed semi-solidly onto his six feet. He shook himself off. Skipp's trusty armor Heliopause had managed to absorb the majority of the explosion's massive impact, so aside from a little disorientation, a tinny whining pounding in his ears, and a little extra ambient temperature registered on his armor's readouts, he was no worse for the wear. As an added bonus, the raw heat of the Volatile Gas explosion had scoured all traces of Spores in Skipp's armor! Though his Macerating Biocover might be dead, at the very least Skipp knew it felt good to be cleared of a Spore infection!

A mechanical roar bellowed across the Zodiac arena as a set of large loading bay doors started to open nearby. Skipp scrambled for cover.

Before the Taurus rig could rear its ugly head in the arena, Skipp darted back to his planned ambush site and, composing himself with several slow, calming breaths, he took careful aim down the main lane of Taurus' approach with his Hulking Warpoon and gathered mental focal energy. As he did so, he began profusely sweating blood from every gland, duct, and pore in his body, pushing his Newtype talents to their absolute extremes. Skipp knew he had to bring himself as close to the verge of death as possible in order for his radical plan to work.

Skipp couldn't possibly turn back now. He had to have faith in his own long-buried greatness that he could succeed here where others couldn't, or to otherwise rest assured that the other Wreckers would benefit from his warrior's sacrifice. After all, Skipp had only one shot at taking out the Zodiac rig's core defenses all on his own, and he'd be riding the razor's edge of survival from that point forward.

Nonetheless, Skipp had to take his chances with the Coffin Nail JC03. Skipp felt like he still had a million things he still wanted to say, to the audience, to his father, to the Zodiac pilots, to the other Wreckers, and to anyone else who would listen, but he also knew that whatever he had to say in this nerve-wracking moment would ultimately be harmful for his reputation if he died like a fool right after saying it. He who hesitates it lost, after all, and Skipp was in this game to win! He had to choose his words carefully - they may be his last!

Skipp lined up his shot and prepared to fire his Hulking Warpoon on the approaching Zodiac rig, all the while trying to think of something cool to say.

Movement: Skipp activates his Newtype ability to mimic the Neosoldat talent set for this Round (-1 HP)!
Skipp activates his Newtype ability to mimic the Junker talent set for this Round (-1 HP)!

C: Beecycler Unit: Consume an item to template it. Spend Luxe equal to Supply Value plus rating (+20 common, +30 rare) to manufacture a copy. Upgraded items only produce the base version, and consumption of an item still bears any risk inherent to that act. An Infest Token may be spent during fabrication to create a Hive version of a normal item.
M: Gelatinous Epidermis: Immune to toxic environments
M: Warped Insight: Roll twice on Table rolls and choose one.
M: Compound Eyes: Cannot be Ambushed.
M: Exo-Mutualism: Anytime a Hiver or Infested completes a Challenge, gain +1 Bvo.
M: Grandmatron's Astral Seal: When subject or ally in same hex suffers Disable, Control, or Forced Movement, they regain 1 HP. Healing items and abilities (except this one) used by the subject restore 1 additional HP.
Crafting Corner: 1/2 Honey Drops Loaded, 1 Advanced Electronics

Nothing to do now but hunker down and wait. Swatter would take care of the hard parts.

Aiming!

Myrv! That Manhunter is a bit of a hassle, so here's a plan you could help me do: You go to 22.06, then during ACT you should SCAN, and relay that SCAN data to Apiary Anne and me! if you tag something suspicious, Anne can then hunt it down with her Vault thingy. Take your spectre for the ride, also you can borrow my Puffiltrator if you want to stay safe in case of enemies (take it)
Geo, you should AIM

While the drone was busy operating on her, Anne tested out her new set of eyes. The mutagen the drone had delivered to her had not only given her new eyes, that allowed her 360° vision, but also upgraded her previously purely for show antennae to also feed her information. With this new tool set, she would be nearly impossible to ambush in the future and might even be able to get the drop on anyone foolish enough to try.
As the drone and the Geometer finished up their work, Anne felt as good as new, with only a few aches reminding her of having lost a limb for a moment. But Stev had come through for her, so everything was good.
With her new mobility module, she might even be able to finally catch up with that cursed sniper, so she hoped Myrv would agree with their plan to get a scan of them.

As he aimed down the sights of his Hulking Warpoon towards the approaching Zodiac rig Taurus, Skipp Wiley Jr. screamed silent curses at himself inside his head. According to all his hi-def scans of the Zodiac rig, the P406 Taurus had a thoroughly reinforced energy supply system. There was no way he was going to be able to take down the Taurus rig in one solid hit like he'd originally planned. Skipp tried to swallow a lump at the back of his throat but found that it had thoroughly dried up. Skipp had never considered that it would be his participation in Wrecking Crew of all things that would ultimately take him out, but he'd come a long way since he'd originally landed on Mercury's surface for his second season of Wrecking Crew. Skipp had always figured he'd die in a recreational rock-climbing accident on Mars, a sky-surfing mishap on Venus, or a jet-plane incident on the way to a red-carpet event in Neo Hollywood...

"No matter what you try to do you're going to die eventually," was a saying in the Wiley household, something meant to curb the ego. Skipp steeled himself as the Taurus rig drew even nearer.

"But I'm scared to fade to black, Pops." Skipp had said to his father, days before he left for his second season on Wrecking Crew. "What do I do in the event of a game over, man?"

At that special moment, Dr. Skipp Wiley Sr. had taken his son by the shoulders and stared at him straight into his Compound Eyes, "Once you see the light, my son, there's no turning back," his father had said, stone-faced, from a place of sincere honesty.

Little did Skipp realize at the time that his father's cryptic response wasn't referring to the light of the angels or to God or even to the blinding gleam of Muscle Jesus's holy pecs - rather he was talking about the lights of the exfiltrators arriving at the end of a Wrecking Crew map, arriving to pick you up and bring you back to a cushy lifestyle.

"Jesus Christ, I'm in too deep," Skipp thought as he considered the Coffin Nail JC03 in his hand. Only now did Skipp have his epiphany: his father had only survived his single map of Wrecking Crew back in the day by being lucky and lasting until someone else took out the final boss and ended the map for him. Even from a legacy standpoint, Skipp wasn't truly cut out for all this heroism business he was professing, and it showed, and yet...

Skipp flexed his biceps and made the sign of the cross with the sacred bullet in hand. "By the Father, Son, and Holy Gains, I smite at thee, Taurus." He never took his eyes off his target while he blessed his shot so. He squeezed the trigger and braced for the Warpoon's explosively massive recoil.

Skipp fired a penetrating lance from his Hulking Warpoon directly at the giant mechanical bull's cockpit, aiming straight for where he knew the Taurus' Pilots to be sitting!

"Bullseye!" Skipp exclaimed as his electrospear sunk into the Taurus rig, right on target.

Encounter: Skipp activates his Newtype ability to mimic the Rigjacker talent set for this Round (-1 HP)!
Aimed Ambush! Skipp fires the Hulking Warpoon at the Taurus Rig's Pilots!: 1d14 12 - 2x Critical Hit (Junker+Headhunter talents)! Skipp deals 3x2x2 = 12 Damage to the Pilots (Rigjacker talent) of Taurus +Penetrator +Disable (Warpoon) +Disable (Malware Emitter) +Disable (Junker talent)!
If Skipp successfully ambushes the Taurus Rig's Pilots without him getting attacked or hit in reprisal, Skipp squidpacks to the north (23.09 -> 23.08)!
If Skipp is hit by Taurus' backlash Gore attack and loses his Neosoldat 1/map talent at the end of Ambush phase (before ENC proper begins), Skipp squidpacks to the north (23.09 -> 23.08)!
If Skipp is hit by Taurus' backlash Gore attack and won't lose his Neosoldat 1/map talent until the end of Encounter phase, Skipp will stay in the hex and do the following for ENC:
Skipp swallows the Coffin Nail JC03 (empowering Caustic Haemorrhexis) and fits his Optiscope (+1upscale) to his viewscreen (empowering Caustic Haemorrhexis +1)! Skipp targets everything in the hex with his Caustic Haemorrhexis, including the two Lurking Horrors!
Skipp shoots the Hulking Warpoon (at 1d10) at the Taurus Rig's Head!
Skipp activates his Assist Flare [X] and orders the assisting character(s) to aim at him instead!
For calculating the Coffin Nail JC03: Skipp has taken 1 damage thus far this phase, and 3 damage total thus far this round! He is applying his Optiscope to Caustic Haemorrhexis!

Wishlist: Hey Sponsors, so - a funny thing happened on my way through Dark's deepest recesses - I ran into the Taurus rig, and it turns out I can't actually defeat a giant robo-bull in one hit, so I'm really going to need the following package sent out to me via Healdrone, and soon, please! I can afford it all by myself, too! [Currently Available Online Funds // Skipp: 46 Luxe / Open Sponsor Accounts: 88 Luxe]
The Buddy Buffer: one Motile Biocover (10 luxe) and one Experimental Medikit (+Heal) (0 luxe) sent via Healdrone Delivery (25 luxe). Total: 10+0+25 = 35 Luxe.
