What the actual gently caress kind of game is Star Citizen even trying to be? Is it supposed to be a pure spaceship game a la Eve, something where you can fly ships sometimes but are primarily a ground-pounder like Mass Effect, a goddamn survival FPS like 7 Days to Die or what? I get that this is "lol SC", but what loving playstyle would someone sane expect from this endless-development poo poo?

I don't really keep up with this anymore, having drifted away from games, but I made an offhand comment on an unrelated subreddit recently about how it was still in development after six years. Double-digit downvotes within minutes and my inbox was flooded with angry defensive posts for the next 48 hours. poo poo was legitimately alarming.
