the polls that were good for moore had trump approval way above water, like emerson. the fox news poll with doug +8 actually had trump at like 52/48 or something around that (the +10 didn't poll it). so if you're trying to figure out which poll predicted the electorate better, it looks like the good doug polls were so far closer. at least, if you believe the exits. and exits are often wrong! especially early ones

even if the exact same turnout magic happened (tons of dems turn out and all the republicans don't turn out), he still loses without the 10% of republican voters that defected to him. i'm a pretty optimistic guy but there's absolutely no way he wins re-election

i think we're gonna hold every dem senate seat. we aren't losing any major incumbents, all of these people won in 2012, and the environment will probably be way better than 2012 was. i am a bit nervous about ohio & indiana due to their shifts rightward, though.
