Would you rather fight ten raccoon sized Hulks or one Hulk-sized raccoon?
Trick question: if you're Spider-man, you'll just lose to a raccoon-sized raccoon anyways.

Luckily for Spider-Man Kingpin in the strips is somehow even dumber than Spidey and his plans are so massively convoluted they never actually cause his foe any real harm, other than temporarily making him think he is crazy. And Spidey is too dumb to remember it happening for very long anyway.

I don't know this is true. Sure, Kingpin had an evil plot for a TV doctor to say "Spider-Man is crazy!" for a few weeks in hopes that Spider-Man would decide to go to her and then drink a drugged drink to knock him unconscious so that Kingpin could fight him in a greased room. That's an incredibly stupid plan, but it worked. Spidey completely fell for it and it was only by an incredible asspull pocket of air under his mask that he came out of it victorious.

the plan worked until it didn't because kingpin was outsmarted by nsm.

Do you not have to pay for plane tickets if you just don't show up for the flight? Did they not have to make reservations at a hotel or anything?

Exactly. His big plan was foiled by him being outmaneuvered by a guy who was dumb enough to drink a roofie he saw being added to his drink, and who didn't bother trying to web him up with two sets of webs when that knife came into play. Or just, you know, threw him through a wall without weakening him first because he's Spiderman.

I don't think it counts as being outsmarted when his plan only failed because the writers ignored how air works.

The Hulk's ARRRR is unrelated to the krakking of Peter's hand; that's pain from Peter's urticating hairs embedding themselves in his jaw.

No he never said Kingpin would go to jail. He just said that Fisk would get pissed, and lay low for a while until he comes up with another scheme

Kingpin exploited the Air Bud Clause. There's no law that says you can't drug Spider-Man and then challenge him to a fight in a greased room.
