Robert Whittaker is dope as hell and I hope he knocks Rockhold the gently caress out. I’m having a tough time picking between him and Holloway for fighter of the year, but edging towards Max.

Not the Whittaker's foght against Romero wasn't a bit lopsided but Max seemed more impressive due to the finishes.

I went with Mighty Mouse because he's still Mighty Mouse but he also put in two of the best performances of the year of any fighter and topped it off with the suplex armbar. No one can touch him.

I like Mighty Mouse and all but either Whittaker or Holloway have to be fighter of the year. The way they've improved from their early UFC fights is staggering. One of them got dropped while striking with Colton Smith and the other (legitimately) lost a fight against Leonard Garcia. Now they're both champions.

I never like making someone who only fought twice fighter of the year. Holloway beat the same guy twice which isnt amazing, dj beat like #12 ranked ray borg, whittaker's wins were cool and elite but only 2 of em and really not that much more impressive than tyron. Rda and volkan had three solid wins, but i dont think either of them are fighter of the year. Looks like it is jon jones

Fighter of the year should go to the fighter whose victorious fighting contributed the most to our enjoyment of watching fighting, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
