I got a cold email from some external recruiter a couple weeks ago for a job in South Dakota so I deleted it thinking it was just normal mail merge spam. nope - the guy has followed up four times. gotta figure a normal person would figure out I wasn't going to respond after the second one where he said they were in the final round of interviews and I'd better hurry up to be considered didn't get me running in visibly out of breath holding a half-crumpled resume, but no, not this dude. maybe it's actually a sympathy play because I am wondering just how desperate you have to be to be so obviously thirsty

Very bad! wtf civilian aircraft has a lavatory but not positive stability?

Space Whale posted:Also, with CARGO planes, if your poo poo isn't tied down properly, say if a strap breaks, and a heavy thing slides back, you get tail heavy in a hurry. If your AoA is too high, especially on takeoff, sucks to be you. This is usually just a tail strike, not a flaming deathball, but poo poo happens. that happened to a iirc 747 carrying tanks the other year and someone caught it on dashcam. whole fuckin plane visibly shifts suddenly mid-takeoff and then falls right out of the sky like in a disaster movie
