Honestly, that ban makes me feel better about playing the game. One of the reasons I'm leery about MP games in general is that I'm worried about horribly bigoted gamers.

Bugs are pretty much objective, tho? Like, if the code doesn't do what the programmer intended, that's a bug, even if it turns out to do something cool and get adopted into an actual feature.

From what I can tell, it's not combat knives, specifically. You just need to have so much stuff in your inventory that you get disconnected. The glitch is based on the idea that your character status gets rolled back a few minutes in a disconnect which includes inventory. So basically it goes: 1-make your connection unstable so you'll eventually disconnect (this is the building 300 combat knives part) 2-get stuff you want to dupe out of your inventory and control, like drop them on the ground so a friend can pick them up for you 3-get disconnected. When you join back up with you friend, youll be restored to slightly before you got kicked off, aka, before you dropped all your stuff on the ground for your friend, so it will all be back in your inventory..... BUT, your friend will still have the originals your dropped off for them, so now you both have the items. Duped.

If Baldur's Gate combat is anything like PS:T, I think Fallout 1 and 2 are much more tolerable in 2018. BG1 has now level 2nd ed d&d combat, so your characters die super easy. Missile weapons with a high ROF are also the rulers of combat. Fighter with long sword? A joke. Fighter with darts? Lethal killing machine

The issue is they're advertising it as discounted from the regular price when it's never sold at that price. It's a dishonest presentation, which is why it's banned for businesses to advertise like this in most of the first world.

It shrinks faster than you can move. You get a couple of minutes notice where it will shrink too. I like it! It makes the environment itself something you have to work against, and you can't just hide to win games.
