well I sorta poopsocked this game yesterday and got to level 10, I think I might be burnt out... I don't know.

it was reasonably fun.

I like that they don't have as much distracting bullshit cutscene/escort missions as in fallout 4. It's kinda nice having every mission be just whatever poo poo I can ignore and blaze through ignoring all dialogue as god intended.

Man if you hate plot why wouldn't you just play a game with legit good gunplay instead of just the best Bethesda can do, like if you're in it to run around cool vistas and shoot monsters Destiny 2 exists for basically that reason.

I know this is me essentially asking why F76 even exists and I guess I kind of am but "I really like the combat in this Fallout game but the dumb story keeps getting in the way" is like, the most surreal take to me regardless of which game you're talking about.

Ya it's weird I guess I'm fairly alone in this regard but I almost universally am bored by all video game stories. They are like superhero movies. The plot is always a story about nothing, with tons of holes but in video games they don't even have reasonably ok actors to carry it.

As for the gunplay, yeah it's not the best... But so far I have enjoyed creeping around head shotting zombies with my hunting rifle as is my typical tradition in fallout games. It's pretty interesting not having the time slowdown and not being able to really pause or reload.

That said I really should finish metro.

Also the multiplayer really goes a long way for me, even though it seems to be largely pointless... I get lonely easily and I really like the idea of other human beings being in the game.

I will say though that having a BR mode is cool, I like that it has some affect on the adventure mode. I was a pretty big PUBG tryhard when it first came out but the lack of any kind of persistent game that I could go relax in was what ultimately burnt me out.
