We usually have an image thread every Olympics, so I thought I'd start one. Does anyone remember the poster that was a photographer? They usually had some high-quality pictures. Edit: I can take requests if you give me a decent timestamp of when it took place in the event (which athlete's turn, period of the game, etc). I've made a lot of figure skating gifs--most are in the thread--but here is the weeb who just set a world record apparently/got the highest score ever for the women's short program (so far, we're not done yet) skating as an anime, because goddamn this was on american prime time e: yep now her 15-year old rival got a higher score and did the technically most challenging combination planned for the women's short and free skates according to Johnny Weir, the Triple Lutz + Triple Loop
