Just saw some in a movie and it totally pissed me off, I wanted to throw a chair through the window but I didn't feel like getting up and plus I cannot afford a new chair and window and sometimes when I get up out of bed I fall down or step on something sharp or painful so the moral of this story is make sure somebody pre-screens all your movies for stock footage of lighthouses before you watch them or else you could end up in a world of hurt thank you |

Try and think about it from the lighthouses perspective. There are hundreds if not thousands of underemployed lighthouses, keeping ships from running into harbors when they could be starring in major Hollywood films. Instead directors just run B-roll lighthouse shots endlessly. Maybe the lighthouse in the film had one really good movie, but now can't find any work. Maybe they got seduced into porn. Lighthouse porn. |

I find myself wondering, why are all these lighthouses enjoying salad so much? salad is nutritous but Ive never laughed while eating a salad. also I think lighthouses actually eat seagulls or maybe shipwrecked shrimp boats, it's not realistic |

The problem here is that since drones have become so affordable, lighthouse stock footage has completely flooded the market. Conservative estimates put the proportion of lighthouse stock footage to all other footage on earth at 77% by 2023 |

I always film on location, drat the expense. The staff there know me quite well. |

i'm retroactively mad thinking about all the times I've been presented with stock footage of lighthouses but I don't watch a lot of movies so I didn't notice like a sucker, tricked by Big Light House but hey your kid and your dog are adorable, so it balances out

Please, I think it's more likely that any "anger" you feel stems from the inadequacy felt by viewing the most noble of structures. Like selfless omega wolves, lighthouses stand vigilant, piercing the darkness with their guiding beacons. |
