Mechanical Animals was great because of John 5. John 5 is one of two massively underrated artists that I absolutely love (the other being Wes Borland). Mechanical Animals was a really loving good album, and one that sold really loving well. John 5 would routinely go to blues jams and poo poo in his area and just listen in the audience. I've learned a lot of the guitar tabs for that album and that's odd just because I hate covering stuff verbatim. I haven't even touched a guitar in years but am sure I could break out the acoustic version of "Last Day on Earth" or start up "Coma White" with minimal errors. The album was also a great rock opera that told a story that helped connect the listener to the artist. John 5 and his rad loving bluesy-rock poo poo just dominated everything and Manson gave himself some cred by doing something different than everyone else out there. People were going loving NUTS about his goddamn MA outfit. The cover was controversial as gently caress! My parents forbade me from wearing his shirts to school because I lived in the bible belt where he "sucked his own dick" like none of the loving rednecks I knew ever tried it themselves. He went downhill because of the drugs. You can only rock your shock rock treatment so long. John 5 almost leaving in the middle of a show kinda sealed it. Topical space? Have you been introduced to the Devin Townsend Project? I assume you have because you're a goon. Also anyone who sticks their nose up at my saying Wes Borland is a great goddamn artist needs to expand their horizon beyond Limp Bizkit.

Words are defined by the culture that uses them. The same word has different meanings dependent on the context, culture and what not. Like the word "tall," Someone who is tall is 6 foot 3 or higher in my book, but for others, it is different. Maybe 6 foot is tall to you. You can be short and tall via posture or stature. You can have a tall order, insinuating a difficult to accomplish task. It's a drink size. Communication is receiver based.
