I wanna make a dumb game this July. I'm a designer/scripter, mostly work in Unreal. I haven't done an awful jam yet, but I have lots of experience professionally. Like a lot of other people here, I'm not an artist, so any artists who might want to join me, PM me and let's make something stupid.

Loops posted:The Last Panderling 2 is coming along nicely, the script, art assets and maps are all finished and Thermal Anomaly is currently wrapping up our final bits of story and gameplay. I'm pretty happy with how cute the game turned out This is adorable! Reminds me of Secret of Mana. Did you guys make all the sprites there? A lot of variety in vegetation and buildings and all that. I can't wait to play it!

Loops posted:Thank you! We didn't make the tilesets (if I remember correctly those are purchased assets) - I think it'd take a ludicrous amount of time to make those from scratch. All the PC/NPC designs and sprites and various other pieces are ours though. Yeah, it would! I was curious cause there's so much. And no condemnation, we used an asset pack for the environment art for our game's level as well. Anyway, the character sprites match the environment really well, making a cohesive look. Be proud!
