Jay's video about MSI scalping is really stupid. It says right in the statement they're rectifying the situation by offering full or partial refunds for people who bought the Starlit cards. I'm not sure what he wants from them w/r/t consumer reparations.

LTT does do a nice thing and makes the intro ad read + title almost exactly 20 seconds long so a double tap as soon as you hear Linus doing his bad sponsor segue gets you right into the video.

Them just walking around that death trap with nothing but eyeglasses to protect themselves was freaking me out way too much and I turned it off before they even used it on the computer. Seems incredibly careless and stupid to do something like that without putting some ballistic panels around it or something.

Madison's posts have put me off LTT for good, I reckon. Not that I watched it a lot, mostly the videos where Linus and Alex do something stupid with computer parts, but uh, yeah. Those videos are a lot less funny when you know how disgusting people are being treated by senior members of staff behind the camera.

Summoning Salt is great for the history of a particular speedrun record and all of the personalities in the story but nothing beats the in-depthness of Bismuth.

I used to watch one or two Linus videos every now and then when I was in the mood to see Alex do stupid poo poo with laptops or coolers but yeah after the Madison stuff I stopped. I was actually surprised that he just straight up disappeared from my recommended videos almost instantly where before he was always showing up.
