Hey, we got a lot of ex military guys here? If so, how's the quality of your lives? Are you having any depression issues? Life struggles? Can we do anything to help you? Turns out a guy who used to shop at the store had a pretty major breakdown recently and tried to murder his wife and kid and then tried to kill himself. Thankfully they are all alive but he's got severe PTSD and has been fighting an internal war since he was discharged. We weren't tight or anything but my old boss let me know about it and my heart sank. So if anyone here needs help please let us do so.

On my first day at the new job, my badge didn't code properly and I couldn't enter the building. Thankfully another employee helped me inside. Cool guy, been there a long time. Always had a nod and a nice "morning" for me when I saw him. And he died yesterday, complications from a stroke. About an hour ago I pieced together that I've been friends with his son for 6-7 years and I really wish I had known that last week so I could have told him how highly I thought of his son. Just a bummer of a day.
