Somehow found a portal to a planet at the center of Euclid.
Also there is a yellow squid ship there for like 10mil which isnt too bad.
Maybe I CAN get to my 3rd galaxy.
Debating on buying to have, though I really don't like the look of squid ships.

Oh, too late forgot that this is a live system and hitting esc doesn't pause.

e:Also, keep getting a distress signal from some freighter, but when I accept the icon is in the center of a planet.
Tried circling, definitely inside.
He is truly distressed.

Multitool generation is weird, its determined by whatever planet you were on last.
At least thats my knowledge of it.
So everyone looking at the same multitool station would see a different one.

So in a system you could, if you wanted, land on every planet and then back to the station to see a different one.

Maybe try validating files?
That seems to have fixed some weird glitches I was having.

e:Speak of the devil, just got back to my base and millions of credits of refined stuff gone out of 5 refineries.
Figured I'd go do some quicksilver missions while they were cooking, but this is the second time its happened the past few days, thought the validating fixed it.
Guess not.
My concoction was chlorine though.

This will change your Forward/Reverse keys to E/D.
Long ago the keys were in the settings section and editable, then later they were there but not editable, eventually it was simply removed.
Obviously it still works, but for some loving reason they removed it.

Yeah good luck on that, last Exo they added was the mech which is near uncontrollable on PC.
No turning in 3rd person, 1st person turns like an Exxon tanker with no power steering.

People have made mods that fix it but they all add in cheaty stuff like infinite jetpack and the like.
As all good mod makers do.

Twice now I've warped to my freighter and had it drop me inside.
Tried to get out yesterday but quickly had to just reload last auto to prevent death.

Took an old bit of Thudarrs advice and used 1 glyph on a portal and got my self to the center of Euclid.
Debating on skipping to the next when it will just as likely be pretty much the same.

Yeah I think you can find the portal through the story line after you get 16, or observatories may also send you to one.

I was at an archive 2 days ago and answered its questions.
Not sure its purpose.
But I got locked into its screen.
I could hit ESC and reload my save but had no leave button for its interaction.
I could jetpack and see its trail but no movement or visual of my character itself.

But I like it easy so may just stick to chlorine crafting or act indium mines for $$.

I have never tried this as multi.
It really doesnt seem all that multi friendly to me.
Like it was added in as an afterthought.

Not Origins, I have had it happen repeatedly over my playtime.
If I hit ESC it has a connection error at the bottom about accessing online services.
Even when I am standing in the midst of 10 other people.
I think this error may have an affect on getting rewards.
The only fixes for it I have seen (to my understanding) are kinda unsafe.

Didn't ever try building this far out using the stretching trick by laying down supply depots in a chain until now.
Was searching old bases for gas nearby and found one 755 away, somehow made it out that far.

I took my first freighter which was a really short yellow 'A' class.
Not my first choice but I really didnt feel like grinding.
I think I only found 2 storage upgrades so far and am at 34 storage.

I have been looking at switching to a visually larger one but none of them have the storage my old one has.

The S class get a better fleet coordination bonus, but my fleet of 25 supply ships are completing any mission without damage so it seems unnecessary.

My fleet takes occasional damage, but they are mostly A and S now with a few Bs.
All my Cs that I bought early leveled up quickly.

Just click in a spot, hover over metal plates and it should just tell you to use A/D to decrease/increase amounts.
When i'm base building i make like 70-80 at a go.

After finally unlocking all recipes i decided to sit down and work my way through the crafting grid.
Holy hell what a rabbit hole it is.
Every time you think you are close you realize you need another 3-4 step item.

Finally got 11 cranked out, not even sure its worth doing instead of just making a larger farm.




Also when i'm in Eissentam it says my home base is in the Hirulloco.
But when I'm there the galaxy map states Euclid.

There have been multiple occasions at the ruin that you need to dig and find 3 keys to open the crate where I have been in the area for a bit and come across a flat surface of sorts that wouldn't let me dig any further.
It just kind of flattens out yet the chest with the key is somewhere below.
I have tried circling in case it was like a buried building or something.
But once just for fun I cleared out an obviously way to big area for that to be true.

I usually just end up going for one of the others since it needs 3 and gives 5.
But thats where it happens for me.

Did a manufacturing facility because there was a storm and i needed a safe place.
Since I have all my recipes i was wondering what it would give.

It gave me a freighter consumable recipe (I havent unlocked any of those yet).
Wonder if I can unlock them all that way instead of with frigate modules or whatever.

Forget the name but you'll also need a specific item to fix ships instead of just ores and stuff.
But you can buy it at most places or hit up that drone guarded place that gives you recipes.

Coming back after a long while, I never even got my living ship.
But bugginess abounds at quite a few of my bases where some of the doors which should just be an energy screen, are closed.

Makes me kind of reluctant on starting a town only to come back 6 months later to find the whole thing dead or no longer mine.

Have they fixed the bug where leaving minerals in the machine disappear if you leave system or log out?
It seems they finally fixed my most hated bug where all keys were editable but for some reason exocraft were hardbound to W and D.

Jumping back into this after quite a few updates.
Looks like they fixed a few cheats like chlorine for making money and the Di-Hydrogen jelly one.

Started having a hard time in space fights, but finally figured out that it defaulted to being Tethered now.
Its like dragging a ball on a string through molasses.
Couldnt hit poo poo.

Did they at least fix the bug where if you left things refining while out on a mission and you would come back to find all of your refineries empty?

Learned the hard way that Sentinel ships dont use regular fuel.
Dont get stranded in the desert folks.

Luckily what it does use goes a long way.
Which is probably why I hadnt noticed until now.
Like 6% a launch.

e: I decided to restart since my last save is quite old.
I forgot what a slog it was getting through the story.
And then the whole 'now jump 16 more times to unlock runes' thing.

Have encountered a few bugs on this play, one where I could only spawn the geobay spawner, no refiner or save point until I restarted.
And another trying to buy a frigate, I got no menu, just the guy waving his arms like hes talking.
Couldnt even escape, had to alt+f4.

Not sure if Harmonic camps are supposed to work this way, but....

I guess I'll spoiler it since its sort of a cheat.

I can just keep going back to the same camp and have it scan for a new ship.
From this one camp I have two Cs a B and an A level ship.
All the same model of course, since I think thats planet locked.
Seems kinda cheaty or a bug, but it has fueled my squadron and its outfitting.


I have only found C level weapons though.
had to get a S class from a video.

There are some dead planets where you can set up rusted metal mines.
Just set up a few refiners there, pop in, collect the stuff you put in the refiners last time and refill from the silos for next run.
