Victory and/or death!
I recently got Dark Souls remastered (never had the original)

Now that I’ve beaten it a couple of times, I think I’d like to do a run starting on NG+6 but with a fresh character.

I’ve read that in the original Dark Souls there were ways to start off that way with a save editor or something, but I don’t know much about that or whether there’s a similar method available for the remaster. I’m also not sure whether that kind of harmless editing gets people banned.

Given that concern, what’s the best way to start a totally new character off in NG+6?

You'd probably be better off posting this in the existing Dark Souls thread.
