Alright I have crafted a contest for you fine folk. The theme is Speed (1994). This thread is the bus. You are Keanu Reeves or Sandra Bullock or maybe one of the passengers, like that woman who gets her legs blown off. If and when this thread reaches 20 posts in a 24 hour period, the bomb is armed. In order to prevent the bomb from exploding you must maintain a 20 posts per 24 hour period minimum. I will monitor the thread with algorithms and thinking machines supercomputers to track when this happens. When (or if?) the bomb explodes, the following happens: - The last person to post in that 24 hour period gets a $50 SA gift card and a $100 Amazon gift card, funded by me. - The second-to-last person to post in that 24 hour period gets a 1 week probation while they recover from their injuries in hospital. - For the next three people I flip a coin and give you either a title change of your choosing or a 6 hour probation. General rules: 1. Posts can be about whatever 2. Normal BYOB posting standards apply as to what is or isn't a "low content" post. BYOB is quite lax with that but a dozen nothing posts in a row won't count except to anger your new lord. 3. My decision on all things is final unless Alnilam or Fluffy intercede.
