There's no goddamn way that was made with natural sapphire. It has to be a lab-grown block worth probably a few thousand. Most of that price-tag is just a stupid tax on people who see the word Sapphire and assume this must have been some rare gemstone. The largest blue sapphire ever found fits in the palm of you hand at it would have taken a stone at least that size to carve something like that watch case.

New actors maybe, but all these celebrities are investing their money into things and are capitalists in their own right, and can in many ways dictate what portion of the studio's budget will belong to them alone, undercutting most of the other people in the production, since they own a resource (their likeness and name) that can't be easily cut or replaced. Steve Jobs did start his career as a technician, but by the end of his life he was a capitalist. It's the same thing. But that's different than fighting against it now, or it's agents, many of who a) know what they are doing and b) are defending their class interests at the expense of those below them and will therefor never stop until they are forced to. The young patriots where dirt-poor appalachians struggling to exist in Chicago. They could be reached. But that's because they shared class interests, there was commonality and solidarity there.
