Max has expressed a lot of opinions and a lot of opinions have been expressed about them. They've been directly involved with a lot of the notable actions of the round. Voting a lurker is a way to delay because we haven't made a decision. As soon as the argument is "well, we don't have much to lose" we've stopped thinking from a winning perspective. I've made a decision. And I plan to campaign for it. Voting Max tells us something. Voting b or Hall is a half measure.
