Pumped for the fight tomorrow. I have no loving clue what’s going to happen. I think this is something close to a 50/50 fight. I’ve long felt Bivol was the best at 175 and would beat Beterbiev. Styles make fights and all that so Canelo is a more difficult match up. I see so many people acting like this is already a done deal for Canelo though which makes me doubt myself but also drives me more towards Bivol as I think people are overlooking him.

I would (as usual) be inclined to agree with you but I just don't think Bivol has the aggression to do anything more than box Canelo to what would normally be a draw or maybe a very close win but that's not enough to get him a win against boxing's biggest star on "his" night in Las Vegas.

Bivol has it for Canelo. This looks like it’s gonna be good.

"Patel"? Fuck you.
I have Bivol up 5-1 after 6 rounds. He’s blocking 99% of Canelo’s punches, dont think Canelo’s landed punches since round 4.

This is also some of the worst commentary I’ve ever heard. They haven’t mentioned Bivol blocking punches once and seem to think it could be anyones fight so far lol.

It really is over the top. They’ve basically only acknowledged that Bivol is in this fight in the last round when he started to pull away.

yeah, Bivol has this so far, not scoring closely but it's probably 6-1 or 5-2 IMO

Commentators changed their tune after like round 9 when Bivol kept just beating Canelo's rear end.

I scored it 11-1 Bivol. You could argue that Canelo didn’t win a single round.

Now, let’s see how crooked the judges are.

They literally changed their tune when they interviewed Bivol’s corner mid fight and Bivol’s trainer was like “Bivol is blocking every single one of his punches” lol.

"Patel"? Fuck you.
Canelo is saying he’s going to execute the rematch clause with Bivol, but I really can’t see that happening. Bivol just won basically every round outboxing Canelo while also being the bigger, stronger guy in the ring. Rematch is the same fight with wider judges scorecards at the end.

Canelo is still the man at 168, he just bit off more than he could chew here. He’s a small supermiddle and a tiny lightheavy, not a surprise that he finally came up against physics. People are saying the GGG fight is dead but that fight makes much more sense to me now than if Canelo had won the Bivol fight tonight.

Easy

"we want to keep selling canelo tickets so he's going to win the decision... hang on, this isn't close, we're going to look stupid if we give him this better start scoring what we're seeing... rematch will make us money anyway"

Yeah it’s quite clear that the powers that be in boxing won’t allow Canelo to lose a wide decision, or lose at all if they can help it. Mayweather, Lara, GGG fights, and now Bivol prove that. You have to box a shutout to get a 7-5 card in your favour. Truly disgraceful stuff!

Floyd posted a slip of a 10k bet on Bivol to win (which like me placing a £1 bet) on his Insta and Broner commented on it saying me too bro easy money but didn't show receipts, which is quite embarrassing
