That 1 extra damage means 1 less bodyshot to kill on all shield levels except blue and flesh. Reload doesn't matter as much on a gun that has such a large mag and low rate of fire imo.

In the past 3 seasons' battlepasses, crypto has gotten a total of 2 quips, a banner (this one was cool but it was back in season 5), and a holospray. I think crypto has received a grand total of one skydive emote and one skin (that lovely robot one from season 4) in all the battlepasses, didn't see crypto once in the season 8 battlepass trailer either. At least Bangalore and Lifeline both got yet another legendary skin. They sure do make it very easy to save your money if you play crypto, but I wish they would at least pretend he existed.

Agreed, but at the same time, it's gotta be hard trying to create something as good as the hype Beast. Maybe he'll get something in the collectors event this season.

Just another cool banner or skydive emote in the battlepass would be nice, or god forbid a rare skin that is actually pleasing to look at. It sucks when you realize that the most they'll ever toss your way these days is the season tracker and a holospray or an old quip they found lying around on a hard drive somewhere as the popular characters are all starting to get their second legendary skin. It sucks having all the decent cosmetics tied to overpriced whale milking events.

Maybe that would be a nice care package weapon that's like Kraber damage, slow projectiles, 2x zoom and balanced by no reloading. Wouldn't need a new ammo type either.

Cool, thanks. I definitely wouldn't expect everything that gets accidentally shown in a devstream to end up in the live game. That same devstream showed a "UFO" that looked just like Olympus's Elysium area floating off the Broken Coast, but that space is now taken by the Mirage Voyage.

Nintendo are great at programming smooth games for their underpowered consoles. Third party devs... not so much. I don't have much hope that it'll run smooth without looking like Goldeneye.

I hope some of the performance improvements they make to get it to run on the Switch trickle back to the PC version. Might get me closer to my dream of a stable 144fps at 1440p without upgrading my graphics card.

And you should check out DFs coverage of switch ports, some third party devs are putting in work.
