People are more likely to already know (some version of) the D&D rules than any specific, sure, but only because people keep teaching it like it's the ideal intro RPG. Which it actually isn't, not least because it has more rules to learn in the first place than like 70% of the alternatives. And there are way, way more people who have never played an RPG at all than have a grounding in D&D. Don't get me wrong, there are things D&D does well and if people are having fun with it more power to them. But your argument makes a lot of assumptions that are not actually true.

Mozic ended up deciding to end our friendship. I'm not entirely sure why, but it means the end of this LP too since I'm not about to solo commentate or find a new co-commentator. Sorry for failing this particular game twice. I think I'm done LP forever anyway. It's been fun.
