Sgt. Maaka has a brief role in the live-action Cowboy Bebop. Very brief scene and he looks completely different, but even so as soon as I saw it I had the Leo pointing at the screen reaction. It was cool to see him in something else outside of New Zealand. Gave me the hope (even though I know it will absolutely never happen) that the Wellington Paranormal people might appear in WWDITS.

Only midway through season 2 right now, but after a work call today I fully appreciate Colin Robinson on a whole new level. Nothing like an hour long work call about the benefits of volunteering being delivered through a monotone deadpan voice about the time they were at a 3 hour event about land use and also something to do with family photos? It was very much something I could see Colin Robinson doing if he got the chance during his promotion before he went truly power mad.

I don't know if anyone here is familiar with Found Footage Festival, but one of their oldest bits is Kenny Strasser (see the video below). What I never realized until last night is that Kenny is played by Mark Proksch aka Colin Robinson. A buddy of mine won a Zoom meetup with the Wellington Paranormal crew in a charity auction!!! AND DIDN'T INVITE ME I love that they all wore their police uniforms even though they're at home because ofc they just had them handy E: they stayed in character for most of it and everyone else played along so no one wanted to end it and the Zoom meeting went wayyyyyy longer than planned.

If anyone needs more Matt Berry voice, he plays a droid in The Book of Boba Fett (appropriate given that Richard Ayoade voiced a droid in The Mandalorian). Even with a bit of robotic voice distortion, it was impossible to miss.
