FYI you need to Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Enable Allow Firefox to Run Studies and Spy On You because that's how they're rolling out the hotfix

So. I installed Dev edition, went to about :config and set xpinstall.signatures.required to false (this can't be done in normal edition because Mozilla doesn't trust the average I dislike the trend in software development to take power away from users. you can sideload it via about:debug, you just have to check the box and then browse to the xpi file someone in the secfuck thread said this will break things once they perma-fix the cert but i'm not sure how. ymmv
