comedyblissoption posted:uh oh sanders just introduced a medicare for all bill in the senate with like a dozen cosponsors this I used to listen daily, and now after my radicalization by CSPAM every time I tune in I either end up screaming at my radio because it's some centrist horseshit political discussion utterly ignoring or misrepresenting the left, or it's their pointless self-absorbed arts and entertainment programming I've been listening to a lot more classical lately (KING FM in the Seattle area) and it owns and it's a much better use of my commute

I'm [30 second long name] and today, we report on the adoption of 3G internet and the rise of meme culture in Cuba. One of the memes they've latched on to is related to their current food crisis, which is due to the... problems currently happening in Venezuela, but let's not get too deep into this one because, uh... anyway memes lol am I right? [I tuned in for the first time in months yesterday and this was the story and I laughed out loud at this part, "Cuba's got a food crisis but uhhh let's not discuss it except to blame Venezuela and quickly move on"]

Good thing absolutely nothing else newsworthy is going on in this country right now!

*audible sound of teeth grinding whenever AOC is mentioned* Oh and also, today one of the shows was talking to someone who had toured one of the concentration camps at the border and apparently it's not so bad! They only hold the kids in empty bleak detention cells for up to 72 hours now! we did it everyone, america is the good guys again (they practically had this tone talking about it lmao)
