I liked the snails were from Xandar. Space Fitz is certainly the most interesting part of the show, but the Not Coulson stuff was way more interesting now. Was the birbs flying around in the memory the same ones that came through in the first episode? Doctor Scotch is my favorite character on the show.

But I think its really clever to have something that is easily seen as just a standard portal thing could be the actual thing that is the driver of the plot.

God drat Agent Khan brings the .50 cals to the gun show. *looks at the weights sitting under his chair* aaah...my carpel tunnel you see. Okay, I'm on board with the Earth stuff now. Space Stuff is still better, but not by much. Glad they finally caught someone so maybe they can get an exposition dump. Also this show has never been afraid to get super gross, but drat Agent Deathmark's crystal death was certainly up there.

Like there's always an Ian Quinn, a famous billionaire with visionary tech diverting money to Secret Schemes In Men in Black, K explains MIB holds the patent for velcro and cds and a bunch of other common (at the time) items that pays for everything. Codependent Poster posted:This show has always been great about the way the characters handle drama. My favorite example is when evil Ward was still in love with Daisy and how other shows would probably have had Daisy struggle with that. But the first chance she gets she just shoots him. Because he betrayed them all and she hated him. If this had been a CW Show Daisy would be "I Know Ward is dead and his body is being hosted to the parasite that founded Hydra, but I think there's still good in him! So instead of taking opportunities to otherwise remove his threat, I will constantly try to talk to them and give them time to escape, call in help, or set off their trap."

RareAcumen posted:May already took him down by herself so that one's not surprising. I'm just waiting for his second power up, unless them corralling the two Shrike together failing catastrophically was the whole plan and Jaco trying to break free was just a red herring. Sarge probably has seen people like SHIELD before that think they can save the infected, and knew they'd put them together, so he used that as a backup. He's certainly written as a "hard man, making hard decisions, thinks everyone else is too soft to do whats needed to do" kind of character.

But all anyone ever does it paw ineffectually around their chin. They're probably made of some space metal or something else. And it's been established that Yo-Yo isn't the flash, she has to use her speed like you'd have to take a deep breath or some other physical action. I expected May to come back with some demon inside her but she had complete control of it because she's loving Melinda May. Killing them and throwing their stones out of the portal was almost as good. Izel's "the gently caress?" reaction to that was fantastic. Man, can Flint stay around? I want to see him completely gorge on tacos. I'm also really looking forward to 1930s adventures, though I wonder if this will be Marvel past were racism wasn't as big of a deal (The First Avengers showed both in film and in the battlefield the US army was integrated, something that didn't happen until after the war. yes there were some combat units of black soldiers in the real world but you clearly see guys of multiple races in the soldiers at the front and in Cap's movie there are black soldiers) or the real world where the early 30s was racist as gently caress. Though I'd like to see some weedy Klan guy try to push Mack around. Though is Fitz in the future or the past? Either the 2019 future or beyond that, or waiting for them in Prohibition NYC?
