bewbies posted:I love the various forms of psychological warfare used on these NTCs He did this with Toronto too, basically picked his teams to make it nigh-impossible to trade him by picking teams like the LA Kings, Boston Bruins, Blackhawks, etc that could never find the cap space or weren't interested in trading with Toronto. So the offseason when he was traded, the Penguins were pretty much the only team with the cap space to take him and that were on his list. Can't say I'm upset about it, since it worked to Pittsburgh's advantage last time.

Seems like a bad but not catastrophic trade for the Pens, with potential upside if this Joseph dude breaks out. Guess I need a new avatar... Still, this just just shuffling deck chairs til the Pens unfuck their D, which I will believe is a possibility when I see it

I feel like Kessel is one of the most underappreciated players in the league. He's just so laid back and looks doughy, so he's gets poo poo on. As for Zaitsev, I still don't understand that contract. I have said it here before, but I really never understood giving a guy 7 years before his rookie season was over.
