Rekka isn't really OWE talent. He came up through New Taiean Wrestling and then DDT. I think he's there to be a slightly more experienced hand (not that he's a veteran or anything)

They've brought in a few big names like Aja Kong and Meiko Satomura but they never send their wrestlers to other Japanese companies. Outside Japan they've worked with Chikara, EVOLVE, Frontline (Ospreay's company) and obviously AEW.

I think Kenny is only handing the talent relations with joshi companies and I haven't seen any complaints from that angle. Though I'm waiting to see if anything crops up with All Out with Aja Kong because she's still advertised to wrestle Reika Saiki in Wrestle-1 on September 1st. Also TJPW are doing their first really big show in Osaka on that day but I don't think anything is announced beyond Shoko vs. Mizuki.

wrt Aja Kong possibly appearing at All Out, she's still being advertised for Wrestle-1's big Yokohama show against Reika Saiki on September 1st so either she's not appearing or AEW are really leaving it to the last minute to offer it to her and are gonna gently caress over Keiji Mutoh. CIMA isn't on the card when the rest of Strong Hearts are so he's probably at All Out.

My opinion on Nyla Rose is AEW should let her do another tour of Marvelous because Chigusa Nagayo is the best trainer in the world and she looked good last time she was there and I'll be able to see her wrestle live.

fwiw Shoko Nakajima, Yuka Sakazaki and Aja Kong all have announced matches on September 1st so I wouldn't expect any of them at All Out, especially Shoko who has a title match.

Shida is the best choice they have for women's champion imo but I'm honestly not too familiar with the Americans. They should just run back the OZ Academy title match between Shida and Kong because that poo poo ruled. Also I wonder if Syuri Kondo getting back into wrestling after leaving to concentrate on the UFC just as her good friend gets a big money AEW contract is related. Ikemen stood on me during his entrance at JUST TAP OUT and I've never felt so honoured. His best ever was against Super Sasadango Machine at Sumo Hall last year. Dango laid a bunch of bear traps and he just flipped his way over all of them.

It gave us the match of the year between Asuka and Akito so clearly it's a good title. Besides AEW are affiliated with DDT so it's nowhere near as galling as a WWE collaborater stealing from them.
