I've mulled it over. I don't want to be an old guy who yells at memes and fun so this is where I stand on it - aliens are awesome - I've always loved aliens - area 51 is cool (the real one in Delaware) - space ships are cool, I hope aliens are real - this thing is a funny concept and it's funny that it blew up or "gone virus" - if I have to hear about it til September I'll kill myself - these people run things into the ground - if I met an alien I would have a lot of questions, like will they be friends with me - if people get shot or get lost in the desert and have their brains boil in the sun, good. I'm sick of these kids thinking the meme life is easy - are we the only species that wears hats? I'd ask aliens that too

In case anyone doesn't already know, the reason Area 51 is thought to be where aliens and flying saucers are located is due to a man named Bob Lazar. There's a documentary on Netflix. It's somewhat interesting if you can get past the horrible editing and the Mickey Rourke narration.

there used to be a thing called digital stampede or cyber stampede that a dude was writing about that made references to yelling fire in a crowded theater, basically it was the idea that people have become so dependent on digital information that false alarms have the potential to cause huge damage and confusion. the hawaii false alarm missile warning was an example of it, but i can't find the info anymore. its that but its growing to a mass scale that, most likely, will come to nothing, but once again prove that you can get a -lot- of people to congregate in an area to...Free Them Aliens. not protest, not enact change, not march for rights, but Free Them Aliens. funny how ICE detentions are starting to ramp up at the same time. in the Arab Spring it allowed for a military coup, in america it will be for memes and social media clout while proving how incredibly powerless and dumb our citizenry has become.

Honestly I feel like they've definitely moved their top secret facility to elsewhere. There's probably places far more remote and hidden than area 51. And in TYOOL19 the US gov probably has google earth and bing maps bought out to not include the facilities on wherever the gently caress it's placed. Probably Dakota or some poo poo.

At the exact same time my dad plugged the lights in to the power that was run out to their garden out back, lighting up the UFO. This was met by screams of 'Stanley! Call the sherriff! Hide <my cousin, who was totally in on this>!'. Instead, my grandpa decided "Not Today, Aliens." and grabbed his shotgun after hiding the family, and busted out the front door like an action hero. Luckily, he was prevented from killing my father, who, after sure it was safe, approached the old man with "We come in peace". How granpa didn't pick that shotgun back up, I dunno.

Bunch of sheep in this thread, the kind that don't do any research on anything ever and thus wouldn't know that all alien activity the US is involved in has been moved to Dulce Base in New Mexico, along of course with the vast complex beneath Denver International. Both of those bases along with several others are connected by underground mag-rail so poo poo can be moved very quickly as needed without attracting any attention. Area 51 is a honeypot meant to deflect attention from where the real research is going on, nothing more. The rest stop is still closed to any traffic and the entrance and exit road to it from the highway have been ripped up. Another person I know in that area said there are unmarked military trucks and vehicles parked in the back now and the place "is huge" compared to what it was, and looks quite deserted in spite of the construction. "I live 20 miles out of Flagstaff AZ. .There is a rest area 1/2 mile away. When the government was building this rest area it took almost 3 1/2yrs to complete, and there were tall fences with dark canvas-like tarps all the way around the area so no one could see what was going on .There were also big army looking trucks pulling in and out all night, every night. Everyone in Munds Park could hear them coming and going. Now the govt. is closing the rest area for good. I'm told the fences will be put back up. There before me was a fully equipped land and sea plane facility. There were approx. 20 aircraft parked there.I proceeded to the private home that was at the end of the road. Went up to the door and rang...then knocked...then tooted my horn. NADA! Someone was in one of the hangers pounding on a plane. I went there and shouted.No response, but the pounding stopped. I waited for maybe 10 minutes, then left. Next time I went by the dirt road, it was chained off with a big sign saying NO Trespassing. I was told that shortly after we moved, this whole airport and dock port was sold to a private citizen. Keep in mind the caliber of *some of the folks* that reside in SV and it's proximity to Canada.
