More often than not Clemson DOESN'T cover. Dabo values getting his 2nd and 3rd string guys reps over margin of victory

I honestly see it as a toss-up (covering that is)... Jawon Pass is out the rest of the season, and while Louisville has had success rotating their 2nd and 3rd string QBs in, they haven't experienced a defense as aggressive as Clemson's.

On the flip-side, Dabo doesn't give a poo poo about covering, and if Clemson starts rolling early, the starters are coming out so he can get his other guys some reps.

Now that sports betting is legal in Colorado, I've dipped my toes in this weekend, sticking with the money line for now. Took the Titans @ -176 and the Steelers @ -239. I'm much more comfortable wagering on college football considering I watch about 100x more of it than NFL, but this season is weird and it's gonna take me a few weeks to see how everyone is shaping up with all the COVID poo poo going on.

Nice wins.

I thought about betting them too but decided to go down with the golden knights' ship because I just love stomping on my own dick.

Thanks! That will probably be my last NFL bet for the season unless I somehow find the motivation to do some research.

As far as NCAA football goes for this coming weekend, heavily considering the following:

Duke -4.5 (-110) over Boston College: You're not seeing any of it in the highlights, but Duke was giving Notre Dame all they could handle for a not-insignificant-amount of the game this past Saturday. Chase Brice (QB) is an absolute unit, transferred from Clemson. He may have been backup for Trevor Lawrence, but the guy is clearly a starter most anywhere else. BC will be in their first year under Hafley, and there were a good many stories coming out about the toxic environment that Addazio created there, so who knows what state the locker room is in right now.

Pitt -21.5 (-110) over Syracuse: Syracuse looked fuckin awful against UNC (who is albeit pretty legit this year). DeVito was a mess, barely broke 100yds passing and was also their leading rusher with 30yds. I've been so used to seeing Syracuse have a really good QB... Glad I didn't bet on that UNC game because I probably would have anticipated a much closer game. I need to do more research on Pitt, but they should absolutely roll Cuse.

Abandoned the Pitt line and now have the following:

Duke -5.5 (-110) against BC: Waited a day and lost a point :\ Still pretty confident Duke will win by a touchdown or more.

Central Florida -7.5 (-110) against Georgia Tech: Tech looked pretty anemic against Florida State as they're still transitioning away from triple-option football. UCF has a good number of starters returning, especially as far as their offensive weaponry is concerned.

Also, Bet MGM gave me two separate $50 free bets, albeit at reduced payout rates... So with that "money" I went for:

South Florida +24.5 (-110) against Notre Dame: Like I said previously, ND showed a decent amount of vulnerability against Duke. And while it may be Jeff Scott's first year coaching at USF, the guy was a wizard as co-OC with Tony Elliot at Clemson before leaving for USF. I'm not suggesting that USF is going to beat ND, but I think it'll be 2-3 TDs at most.

This last one I got a little silly, and went against my UCF/GT bet...

Parlay
Georgia Tech @ +220 over Central Florida
Miami @ +110 over Louisville

Losses:
NCAA
-7.5 GA Tech to cover vs Syracuse: I should have known better...
-28 UGA to cover vs Arkansas: So close... If UGA hadn't hosed around for the entire first 3/4 of this game they would have easily covered.
-19.5 BC to cover vs Texas State: Just... Shameful.

NFL
2-way Parlay TB covering -5.5 and Arizona covering -5.5: Got TB, not so much with AZ :\
3-way Parlay Rams covering +1.5, Steelers covering -3.5, and 49ers covering -3.5: 2 out of 3. loving Rams...

Wins:
NCAA
2-way Parlay OkSt covering -6.5 and UVA covering -4
-7.5 Auburn to cover vs UK

NFL
-6.5 NE to cover vs Raiders

Overall I'm down $20 on the season.

Just bullshit boiler-plate... "Cancellation reason: Winning selection not available in the market"

Then from their FAQ: "In most cases a bet would be cancelled because it was offered with incorrect information or because a pre-match bet was accepted after the event had started."

Oh, I'm sorry you did a poo poo job of handicapping. Guess I can go back and get all of my money back on my lost bets because I took it with "incorrect information."

Ok so noob question before I get back to BetMGM again...

I took Baltimore at -14, and they won by exactly 14.

BetMGM is telling me this is a push, but I thought that mean that yes, they covered, therefore I win?
