 Metal Wolf Chaos is a third-person shooter video game developed and published by FromSoftware. It was released for the Xbox exclusively in Japan in 2004. The player takes on the role of fictional President of the United States Michael Wilson, piloting a mech to battle the rebelling military led by fictional Vice President Richard Hawk. Wilson's mech can be equipped with up to eight weapons selected from a set of over a hundred. When people were softmodding their Xboxen of yore, it was to play MWC (anime Slave Zero), Or NUDE (anime Seaman for 10~ mins. before realizing they don't know Japanese), it really didn't run OR look bad when I played it a couple years ago on a modern TV, so all it really needed was an upscale, the gameplay is timeless Otogi ports when?

This port needs more time to fix things. I lose control of the game because of the cursor moving too much in fullscreen. That is a new one.

The first time I beat the second level (the first one with a real boss) the game locked up (went to black screen and wouldn't load the results screen) after I finished the level. I had to play the entire level again and got careless and died against the boss. So had to play the level a third time to actually finish it. Not a great start. No issues playing the level after though. I'll play some more today and see how it goes.

Anyone having an issue with the volume levels? Like everything except the DNN reports between levels is super quiet on PS4 for me, even after cranking them up in the settings menu.

The jump in fun from having a baseline loadout to one or two good weapons is incredible. I beelined the Machine Gun development tree after Beverley Hills and the MG-200 absolutely tears everything apart. You need like three to have enough ammo for a stage, but that's a small price to pay to saw through everything as fast as you can run through the stage.

What are the safe ways to rescue people from cages? Stomping the cage seems out, but riddling them with bullets seems to work, I guess.
