WE managed to turn it around 3-1 in the last 10 minutes, Vlahovic twice and then Chiesa. Phew!

One of the most baffling things to happen this year has been (and continues to be) the Guardiola hysteria at Juventus (mostly on social media to be fair). Many "insiders" and ITK and a few journalists had been convinced, and preslytizing with their followers, that Guardiola would be the manager for Juventus this year, no question. Sarri was fake news. Even going as far as predicting the date of the announcement, the press conference, claiming already multiple meetings with Paratici to discuss transfers etc.

Then Sarri arrived, and while a good portion are now resigned to having Sarri, a non-trivial amount of the theorist just switched to "Guardiola is just waiting for the UEFA sentence to activate the clause of his contract to get free; Sarri will "conveniently" have a family issue before the first match in order to resign with intact honor"

To anyone that casts doubt on any of these theories, the one and only response has been "you were saying the same about CR7 last year!"; no discussion, the argument is won with that.

Truly, buying Big Ron has broken some people's brains.

So a consortium of investors led by Gianluca Vialli is purchasing Sampdoria, a letter of intent has been signed by both him and Ferrero. End of an era, really.

Simeone from Fiorentina to Cagliari seems done. I did not expect that at all.

It's done - he posted a pic of his flight to Cagliari. It was a foregone conclusion here, he was third in line as striker after Vlahovic (19 years) and a guy who's middle name is Prince. In the friendlies, he's been played as a winger if he even played.

All in all I'm unhappy cause I still think he can be a top player. With Pavoletti, he'll play the same position as when in Genoa, so he's definitely one to watch this year. Cagliari continues making a really good transfer market, better than a few "bigger" teams like Samp, Torino, Milan, heck even Juventus (if compared to season objectives).

Fiorentina just announced Pedro and is now close to sealing Rachid Ghezzal from Leicester :stare:

Also surprising absolutely no one, Andre Silva failed his medical at Frankfurt, and so Rebic to Milan might fail as well.

Edit: False alarm: all good.

Which Pedro is that? Not the Chelsea one surely. Ghezzal is a nice pick up.

Pedro from Fluminense, striker. Very promising, could be a good one alternating with Vlahovic.

And the Silva thing was from Di Marzio, but appears he just clickbaited.
