Be Cool Scooby-Doo apparently actually has its good points. The problem with Scrappy is that he does the exact same thing every episode and contributes nothing even moreso than the rest of the Scooby Gang.

They even did a bump where Johnny and Velma dated. I feel most of the joke was that, much like most wannabe casanovas in cartoons, Johnny Bravo wouldn't have any trouble getting a date if he could act like a sensible human being for five minutes and talk to women like fellow humans. I suppose there's a real life lesson there.

Fun part of Mystery Inc is that it shows there's been a ton of incarnations of Mystery Inc across the decades, because it might make the Groovy Gang canon Though funny thing is that Johnny Quest (with a thin veneer) later mentions Velma exists and he got a STD from her (or vice versa)
