If anything this just points to a need within the industry for actual oversight. A union would have the ability to handle situations like these, I think, and the US absolutely needs better mental health care.

KOL UPDATE: Jick continues radio silence, most of the community that's left has started to collapse. Radio KOL is ending, the sl_ascend program (used to help automate ascensions) has lost all of its coders, lots of old community members are leaving. KOL (the webgame) might not survive this year.

It's largely because the stuff with vinny and GPM's immediate support led to all the poo poo that GPM had been covering up exploding out (my understanding is that he would regularly stream with and had mods who were known predators) so even if the stuff with vinny ends up not being true at all at least something good came of all this
